Andy............... count us in for 3 t-shirts. Would you object to me "borrowing" the image you did and adding our names at the top? Then, if I can find the magnetic paper, I'd be all set with a magnet that I doubt would "walk away" from our cabin door.

Andy, Please count me in for a door magnet and two T-shirts. I will have to figure out how to PM you to get you more information on the T-shirt sizes.

My DH Phil and I will be in a category 9 stateroom and will have late dining. Disney has not given us our stateroom number yet, but guarantees we will have one.

We are taking our first cruise this October (Eastern Carribbean). After reading all the posts, it sounds like this could be the beginning of a new way of vacationing for Phil and myself.

Are there any other people from Maine cruising on this cruise?

Gloria, I'm not from Maine but I'm going up to Old Orchard Beach for a week in August! I've never been before but I've heard it is a lot of fun.

Gloria...which cruise are you on in October...we are on the 7 day Magic on 10-2-04. You will love this way to vacation.

Would love to go to Maine..tried this year to get a timeshare up there but waited too long and was out of luck..we are going to Lincoln, NH instead...how far is that from Maine? Maybe a side trip to your state which I hear is beautiful.

I cruised on a ship once that the Beach Boys were on, they played a concert on the dock in Nassau, between the two Big Red Boats, the travel agency could not put a picture of either ship on the T shirts they had made up.

I received an e-mail from a DCL exec that I know this morning. I was told that since the photo that I am using for the door sign was a personal photo that I took during last year's cruise, it was O.K. to use for the signs and t-shirts. If we use this design for the t-shirts as well. I even sent a copy of my design along to this exec this morning.

Cool beans!!! Will they let you use the DCL logo as well? You know for a sailing being this far off, we sure are getting all the extras lined up early. Hope none of us forgets to pack the stuff we really need!

You can count us in for 3 t-shirts. Not sure if DH will wear one but this way I will have an extra.

Also, if anyone has children around 7 (when we cruise), my son is interested in emailing other kids around his age that will be on the cruise. We did this on our last cruise and he really enjoyed knowing someone before we boarded. He was very excited to meet the boy in person.

I had some people ask about making the door signs personalized. I have already printed off the first 25 signs, but what I did was get a Sharpie marker and just write my family name on the sign. I have attached a photo below to show you what my family sign now looks like. You can get as creative as you want, this is just to give you an idea. I think it's true the more personalized your door magnet is, the less chance of it being taken by someone else. Us DIS'ers have to look out for one another!!!

If you could reduce it just a little and leave a little space at the top, each family could write in their name there, so it would read "The Plesha family is..." followed by "Bringing the Magic home". What do you think?

The trouble is, I already printed off 25 of these signs last night. I did crop this photo down a bit, but if you had a fine point Sharpie there is enough room on the sign itself to add a name in at the top.

O.K., here is another example of what can be done to the door sign with writing the family name or DISboard user name at the top. I used my fine point Sharpie to add our name in.

Gloria--we aren't from Maine either but are spending a week in New Hampshire this August. We spent a week in Bridgeton last year. We alternate our family summer vacation between NH and Me. Where are you from?
