Well, Grumbo, you stirred up a hornets nest in our household. Allan clearly takes more notice of you than he does of me! So much so, that he has contacted our TA and paid off our cruise! So we have booked and paid for EVERYTHING!!!! We have nothing left to do apart from pack! What a wonderful feeling - I can finally allow myself to believe that it is all really happening!

Hi All--
Had a great time at AKL this past weekend. Weather was perfect.

As far as the kids list for kids under 3......I have received info. for Haley, Kaleigh, and Logan and baby (Lyndsay or Landon) Ianucci.
Nancy--I added Emma's info--if that's ok?? Let me know. So we have 6 kids so far under 3 (including Addison) on the list.
Anyone else??? PM me with info (child's name and age and any other info you want--i.e. cabin #, dining time, parent's names, etc). Again this list will only be for the parents with kids on it!!! We are putting it together so we can possibly get them together around the ship so they'll know each other if they happen to be in Flounders at the same time together.

Lasik consultation is 2 weeks from today--hopefully surgery the same day or the day after!!!

Oh--and I am up to $506 Disney Visa Rewards Dollars!!!!!!! (And $502 in my ebay paypal acct!!!). Not too shabby!

I can tell you from my previous cruises, I've always spent way too much on pins and this one is probably going to be the same way. These will definitely be a way to remember the cruise.

Glad to hear you'll be at the HISP with us. When are you arriving? We'll be there late Wednesday night (8/17).

Regarding Lanyards -

I am so sorry that I did not get the info out yet. The anti insomnia drugs are kicking my butt, and I just haven't felt up to much. But (and yes, that is a big but!) I am doing much better today, I will begin sending PMs after I return from a month overdue pedicure.

After cashing my latest round of survey payments and rebates, I am up to $1020.00 in the cruise envelope. Looks like I will be able to buy the small pin! That big plaque looks nice, but I can only imagine that DCL has a price to match!

Renee, that girl is too cute. And moms, don't forget, Aunt Marsha will babysit if you need a break! ANd my prices are much more reasonable than Flounders.

Thought I'd drop in real quick to say "hi" and squash any rumors that I might have dropped off the face of the Earth (but, yes, I am teetering on the edge - one good push from Grumbo and I'll be gone).

No way I can catch up on 200+ pages of posts!! Oh well. Thankfully there's Tracy's monthly newsletter!!

Anyway, I'm keeping busy - we're moving into our new house in 5 weeks, going to Washington state 2 weeks after that to pick up more furniture from my uncle, then 12 weeks after that going on a much-needed vacation with you fools Oh and amongst all this, I'm launching a business and dealing with all those related headaches (setting up an LLC, prepaying state taxes, setting up the ficticious business name, blah blah blah). Nothing like voluntarily taking on more stress

I had planned on doing it anyway--so they knew my husband knew and consented to me taking her, etc. But just wondering.....!!

Have any of you "fools" traveled to Australia? My DD's second grade class is having a huge Aussie Day celebration on June 3rd. YES! The entire day! Anyway, the teachers would like a Aussie booth set up with photos, travel brochures, money, bomerang, etc. etc of items from Australia. Anyone have any photos that could be emailed or items that they would like to contribute to the cause?

wow, i thought there was a law requiring a parent to prove they could take a child out of the country legally, but apparently I'm wrong. I just found this.

The United States government does not have exit controls at the border. There is no way to stop someone with valid travel documents at the United States border. The U.S. government does not check the names or the documents of travelers leaving the United States. Many foreign countries do not require a passport for entry. A birth certificate is sufficient to enter some foreign countries. If your child has a valid passport from any country, he or she may be able to travel outside the United States without your consent.

I need to get Emma in for her 2 year old photos - she'll be 2 on Tax Day April 15th! I need to get her well first - she's sick (ear infection and bronchitis) again can you believe it! I am, too now (fever, sore throat & sniff/drip/cough) and Megan was (fever & congested cough) again last week on her spring break!! We just can't shake this thing. We've been "The Sick Family" for over 2 months now.

5 rounds of various antibiotics = $100 in insurance copays
2 different bottles of cough syrup = $40 in ins. copays
6 doctor visits = $180 in ins. copays

Owning stock in Kleenex Tissues = Priceless

I am a bad mom. I haven't had Kaleigh for pictures in a while. We had photos taken on the cruise in October and that was it.

Hope all the sickies are feeling better. I am on the mend.
