That link is too cool! Thanks!

To anyone who has been on a PC cruise before - do the front of the decks get mobbed with everyone trying to see? I'm wondering if the kids are going to have a hard time seeing what's going on.

Thanks!

UMTerp

All I can picture is a scene from a cartoon where all the people rush to the front of the ship and all of a sudden the back is lifted in the air.... :rotfl2:

OK boys and girls, all Lanyard PMs are out. You do not need to reply if you don't want. I will know if you read it!

It's been quiet here, no call from DH who is in Souix City Iowa tonight. He must be whopping it up and forgot to call, or he has passed out from boredom!

I imagine that there will be a rush to the front decks for the first lock, after that many people will be in the "been there, done that" mode. I am really looking forward to the heat and the sun. I never had a problem with the 120 days in AZ, and we had 8 weeks of humidity that would feel like a steam bath. I have NOT adjusted to the cold here.

I agree with you, Marsha on the heat thing. I'm thinking 13 years in FL and 8 years in the "ever so tropical" Philippines has me prepared for this cruise!!
Just don't forget our deodorant, people!!

Oh, and thank you dad (and mom) for all of Addison's birthday gifts!! With my mom behind the credit card--my daughter is one well dressed child! Mary's a Saint!

This would be great filed in The Rolodex. ;) (That way, when I go looking for it three months from now, I won't be so frustrated!) :rotfl:

Thanks for all the great info Barbara!

Deodorant? Never use the stuff. :confused3

So, who wants to sit next to me on the ride back from the rafting? The seat next to me always seems to be the last to be filled. Especially in the summer months! :confused3

Done! Good idea kmiles!

Melinda, I just got booted out of chat, I wasn't ignoring you. I kept answering your questions, but you must not have seen anything. I'm going back in there if anyone wants to join me.

Here is another pin..

I can't get back in at all. Don't ask yet. I'll post something tomorrow right after I hear from him or noon, whichever comes first.

Tracy

Just as a hypothetical, if DCL were to charge us for corkage at the wine tasting party would you want to:

a. Try to have the party near DL on Friday
b. Have the party at the port on Saturday morning
c. Have the party as planned and pay the $15 + gratuity per bottle charge
d. Have an informal party on deck and figure a way to get the bottles open if our corkscrews get confiscated

Again, this is just a hypothetical right now.

OK, you have peeked my interest. Tracy, if this is something we need to get back to you on tomorrow ASAP and it's good, put us down for it. Brian and I will be gone all tomorrow away from computers. I know...type A here!!! :rotfl2:

No problem Tracy, i didn't take it that you were ignoring me..i knew something was wrong...
I just watched CSI and tried to come back just now but i am having trouble logging on and immediatly get booted!!

i try one more time to get in, if not,,,see you all tomorrow!! ;)

This is how I see it. Fifteen more dollars is not going to be hardly any more $ out of our family's pockets as compared to the total we are spending on this trip. We cannot even go to a fast food burger joint for that much for our family.

The wine tasting party is something Brian and I are very much looking forward to sharing with everyone and on the ship.

So, Brian and I are very happy to pay the $15.00 corkage fee (hypothetical) and have the wine tasting party on the ship in all its glory.

My 2 cents!
