Now that the Westbound cruisers have received their documents, has Disney told them when the Formal/Semi-Formal/and special theme nights will be for sure? I would like to have this information so I can plan my Palo nights. Can anyone help?

I wouldn't count on anything that they've been told being accurate until they get the "Welcome Aboard" navigator. I know for the 10 day we were told by DCL when the theme nights would be, but when we got the navigator they had all changed.

Exciting Day here in NJ. About 3PM I get a call at work from the recruiter in Orlando telling me they want to fly me down next Monday night & Tuesday for an interview for a position I applied for. Then while Im on the phone with the travel dept making ressies - DH calls me on my cell and tells me that the people he phone interviewed with a week ago are flying him down this Friday to interview. Both positions are located in Lakeland - how cool would that be.

Wish us luck!!!

Oh wow! Ginny good luck to you both. I hope you get everything you wish for.

You need to have your photo as a url attachment from a website or have the photo in the DIS photo gallery. Hope this helps!!!

I don't really read the Westies thread nor am I caught up on the regular Cruise Board so I don't know if this was posted in either of those places, but i thought I'd put it here so others would know. (does that get the award for longest run-on sentence?)

They did eventually release Florida Resident and Cast Member rates for the May repo cruise.

Is anyone else besides me wondering why the ship on most of these pins is colored blue when the Magic is actually colored black?

Actually, the Magic is painted blue, not black. It's a REALLY dark blue. We were told this on some sort of tour in December. I guess the dark blue reflects the water better than black (or something like that).

Lynn, KRDisneybound has been posting a calendar on the Westbound thread daily which has the themes. The westbounders didn't get the info with their documents. Some who have REAS have gotten the info from Debbie at DCL. They also got the lunch menus. All subject to change of course ;)

As for the color of the hull of the Magic, it is not black, it is midnight blue (I believe that's the name).

You need to host the picture somewhere else, like Photobucket. Once the picture is there, open it, right click on it, click properties, then copy the name of the picture. uses that in the /img insert. YOu can't host it from your hard drive. When you use photbucket, you may need to resize the picture to 50% or so, because it will be way to big for the guidelines.

COLOR=Red]STATEROOM CREDITS FOR THIS PANAMA CRUISE[/COLOR]

Hi everyone,

I have a question for you has anyone received stateroom credits for this Panama cruise, no matter how you paid for this cruise ( credit, cash...) if you changed a prior reserved cruise to the Panama cruise dates once they were made available ?

Example: While on a cruise in late 04 we picked a random date for a cruise in late 05, we were given stateroom credits for booking on board. When the dates for the Panama cruise were announced we moved the random 05 cruise reservation to the Panama reservation.

Hope this makes sense... If you have done this change and have stateroom credits can you please PM me.

Thanks, Kim

Izzamac- I sent our check to you be but I sent it from Work in a Wells Fargo envelope. The check does have Tim McGraw on it, but I am sure it will be lost on you... :earboy2:

It wouldn't be lost on me! I love Tim McGraw and Allan loves Faith Hill. I'm 50 next year and my birthday wish is to travel to wherever I have to, to see Tim in concert. Allan will be 60 18 months after my 50th and he wants to do the same travel but to see Brookes and Dunn. I bet this is lost on a lot of people too!

I think they did receive a lot of information by calling DCL. If you check out their thread they have lunch themes, formal nights, and semi-formal nights listed by day. But, as Jenny said, that could all change once Disney actually gets this thing underway.

Nancy--

They did release Florida Resident Rates for the May repo cruise? Wow. Maybe we'll be lucky and they'll do the same for the August once. Although, I think we ended up getting a low rate to start with so I don't know if it would be beneficial for us. And, we would have to give up our onboard booking credit.

We received an onboard stateroom credit but we booked the August repo cruise the day it opened while we were on the Magic. In other words, we got the credit but we also booked the exact dates that we're sailing.

From a discussion I had with a booking agent with DCL, the line was supposed to do away with the stateroom credit if you transfered the reservation or made changes to it once you were landside. Not sure if this was ever put into effect or not.

I just looked back many pages on their thread and can't find the information you mention. Can you copy and paste the lunch themes, formal, and semi formal here? I just couldn't find the information over there.

Thanks!

Well, the FL residence rate could change things as my mother is there. I will have to have DU check and see, if it is any cheaper than the shaft I got from adding her late.

Well color me educated! It sure LOOKS black!

This is kind of funny - my husband is color blind and I always pride myself on how well I can see color. He will really laugh when he hears this!

We'll be keeping an eye on it too, Marsha.

We've done very well with Florida Resident Rates in the past. The cheapest we've ever been able to sail on DCL was $599 per person in a Category 11. We actually got this rate twice: Once on a May cruise and once over Thanksgiving week in November.

I always thought it was black too, but since I was told that, I could see that it was when I was walking along the ship. I think it might be one of those things that you only notice if you know it's there.
