Those prices are ridiculous. If you use the JGE Laundry service the price would be 1/2 theirs. The "Sisterhood" could also use the extra money to buy their husbands their well deserved drinks!!...Mark

Why is it I never have any plans to do anything, and sometimes get home by 4:30, yet on chat nights, when theres more people in chat, i can't get on until late my time and everyone is asleep.

For all you ohhh so experienced cruisers I have a question about dresses... How dressed is over the top for formal nights? I have a soon to be 15dd and 6 year old dd who have convinced me to buy them prom/flowergirl dresses and tiaras for all three of us (the boys refuse to wear tiaras or dresses ) Will we look like a bunch of fools or since this is the fools board will we be fine amoungst our 500+ foolish friends?????

Any advice?

DD18 had a tiara for formal night on the last cruise. The only person I have ever seen on five cruises that I would describe as "over the top" had a fiberoptic tiara and her white dress also had fiberoptic tubing in it. It was quite a sight.

I'd be there now, but I'm still at work and the server does not allow chat. Have a good rest of your birthday, heck, celebrate the rest of the month and in to May and then thoughout the summer too! Having one of your children celebrate their birthday the day before yours seems to push your birthday to the side, but that is fine with me. Ever since Amy was born, we all tend to forget about my birthday and concentrate on hers! I'd rather forget about the whole thing!!!!

Happy Birthday to all the April people...wow I lost track of the names...So I don't slight anyone I won't attempt naming.

Dan, Hope you are feeling better...glad all went well.

Formal night? Dudette # 2 wore a tiara...age not mentioned, long black gloves to boot. She got tiara's for #'s 1 & 2 but we wouldn't wear them...not the right hair. Heck, my first formal night I looked like a middle aged Cinderella...I told her "see what you have to look forward too?" Of course she just smiled sweetly. I love to see the little ones all dressed up.

Pauline, my girls dressed up in prom-style dresses as well for formal night and loved it, first time for them. They looked beautiful, and you can see for yourself in our picture in the "other" place. DD(then 8) announced that she felt just like a princess and spent a lot of time twirling. DD12 has already told me she wants to find a "twirling" dress for herself this time

Dan, just rest up and get better! My boss went in for angioplasty last Thursday and was released Friday evening with orders to rest. What did he do? Mr. Invincible mowed his lawn!! Naturally he felt pretty uncomfortable the rest of the weekend, and hasn't been in to work this week yet. Mind the doctor's orders!

Denise, my youngest DD was my birthday present (well she came two days before) 10 years ago...and I haven't had my own birthday cake since!

Well, i have bronchitis. Guess my body took a beating from the last 2 weeks. So now i am not only mentally exausted but physically exausted.

Glad you had a good time in WDW, jazz and Denise, and to Jazzmiss, i will be watching Star Wars on May 19th for Bob and Alex are nuts about them.

Regarding formal nights, my DD12, Brainne will be wearing a bridemaid gown that she is in a upcoming weeding on may 14th. The gown is light green with chiffon and a wrap.

reagarding my MIL, she had a trach put in yesterday. No changes, but my FIL have trouble letting her go. he is still hoping for a miracle and she will be transfer to a Nursing Home this week. I do not like that idea, but have to support my FIL decisions.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone.
