Marsha.....that is an incredibly nice offer!!!! I'd hate to do that to you, unless we truly have NO room for it..... We'll have four in our cabin, and space is gonna be an issue.... Grandma, Mom (me), and teenager and a toddler. I'll keep your offer in mind.....thank-you.

I didn't read the Kite Runner. I keep buying these books for the book club, then have no time to read them!!! (I have now finally stopped buying them and am quitting the book club!!!)

Not much help here, but when we made our arrangements with Karmel, they told me car seats are required, but State law will not allow them to provide them. In other words, have your own with you! Maybe we rent a shuttle just to shuttle a car seat back and forth to the airport!

That's interesting because there was at least one shuttle company I looked at (none of the 3 I listed) had car seats available for rent for $10.

I'm struggling with the car seat issue as well. In May we'll need it to fly down and back from S.F. to L.A., then in shuttle to and from DL. In August we'll need it primarily for airplane (especially from FLA back to CA), and on shuttles at each end. Emilie will be 18 months in August. I do NOT want car seat in cabin the whole time. This week-end I looked at Babies R Us, hoping to find a cheap and lite weight car seat just for the trips. I'm a single parent and can NOT carry the Britax all around the airports. I couldn't find anything small or lite weight. So, WHAT TO DO???? I'll also need the stroller on both trips... At least this time I don't have to bring baby food as well!!!

We are *not* bringing the stroller this trip (woohoo!!). One less thing to schlep. I figure if we need one on the ship or in the ports (probably won't) we'll take a chance that DCL has one to borrow.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we take Mark's bus from port to MCO we will not need a car seat right?

Hello all you parents with car seat storage issues. I will be happy to pile up some on the extra bed in my cabin, seriously. I see no need to move the two beds together if someone needs storage room. I don't mind, really. Please let me know if you want to use the room!

Anyone know if a car seat will fit under the bed on the ship? Never thought to try that last November!

Car rental companies rent car seats all the time, I wonder why shuttle companies can't.

Also if you're in a bus type shuttle with no seat belts then no car seats are required.

Anyone know FL on car seats. Lindsay is 6 but not 60 pounds. While I hate to let her ride without a booster seat, if she does meet the law, I'm not planning on bringing her seat just for the ride from Port to WDW. My mom is dropping us off and has a booster in her car, and she'll pick us up at the airport, (or just drop my car off for us that day) so I don't have to worry about car seats here.

One conundrum is a car seat for Emma. CA law requires it, but I really don't want to bring hers from home and have to trip over it in our stateroom for 14 days! We brought it last November with the understanding that our stateroom host could stow it for us during the 4 nite cruise. No such thing! I had read about "the stroller & car seat storage" on the boards but our host said there is no such thing. So we tripped over it for 4 nites.

We keep Haley's carseat in the closet with the luggage. There's plenty of room in there for it.

We also fold her stroller up and put it in the corner. Never tripped over it once. Of course now that I said that, I'll probably be tripping over the darned thing in August, lol.

We could make it rich inventing a folding carseat.....one that would ONLY fold with clear direction from an adult, and NOT accidentally!!!!

I will bring Addison's car seat and stick it in the closet. As for the empty suitcases--I have the set of 4 which fit inside each other and last cruise they fit fine under our bed. So carseat will go in closet, luggage under bed and I'm still contemplating a stroller............I want to bring the jogging stroller for DL and when I jog on deck 4 ..........but it may be easier to rent strollers at DL and then let her swim with Auntie Heather while I jog in the AC on a treadmill instead!!!

In the same boat with car seats. It looks like we will be bringing Kaleigh's. We will only need it for CA, but I don't want to be denied passage for not having it.

I like the idea of a sewing circle, maybe for an hour on sea days. I have a couple of small projects that really need to get finished. Let's see how the May navigators look and then come up with a time. The game room, deck 7 or the coffee room might be good places.

With just two of us, we should have room for a car seat as well, if anyone is really stuck for room.

Renee, Haley is just adorable in that dress. Hope we see it on the cruise.

How come when I try to enter the chat room on the other site the screen flips over and then there is a message saying "User has been banned"? What did I do to deserve that? Anyone else getting that message?

Wow!!!! I wonder if it is the user name that is banned or if it's the IP Address? Only the site owner can tell for sure, he will need to to a query on who is banned.

My final Chadwicks order arrived as did the 2 Mickey phones.
