I try to tell the guys I work with to proof read what they type to put on construction plans. I keep reading the notes and finding the same mistakes. Spell check doesn't pick up when you use an actual word, just the wrong one. Like they use "stripping" instead of "striping" (as in parking lot striping). I told then to stop. What will the contractors' think??

When I was in college I did temp work. One time I was typing up a contract for a company to sell there warehouse, but I accidently typed *****house. The other peoples lawyers were all upset when they thought that the company was buying a *****house

You should, esp if you are in a sideways cat 11! I am hoping to downgrade from my current cat 8 into a cat 11. I just spoke at length with my TA about things and she said that basically the difference between the various categories pretty much stays the same regardless of when you book and what rate you got for your initial booking. So we stand to save $1400 by downgrading (it could be $100 in either direction though). It's about a $1000-1400 difference to go from an inside to an outside cabin and another $1000-$1800 difference to go from an outside to a verandah (of course depending on what category you are upgrading from and what category you are upgrading to).

Confused yet? I'm here to encourage everyone to release their cat 11s to me.

I'm really hoping for something forward but at this point in the game beggars can't be choosers! Though I would get a GTY if you released your cabins and maybe someone is ahead of me for one of them (or both!) I think it would cost somewhere around $2500 (Give or take) for you to upgrade from your current reservation to a cat 6, if I correctly understood my TA.

If you are serious about upgrading (and I haven't been around long enough to tell if you are or if you're just kidding!) please let me know before you do so I can try to grab the cat 11 spots you are releasing!

Even thought I want to upgrade-I am sure we won't. We only paid $1800 for 2 of us in a Cat 11-it would be a huge increase for us to upgrade.

Don't give up on the waitlist though-our 3rd cabin was on a waitlist and it cleared in January-just last week I think they had Cat 11's on the website as available!

Holy #(*)@#*#(&$ thanks for making me want to shoot myself about my rate! I just keep telling myself that it will be worth it, even at full rack rate. It will be worth it. It will be worth it. If we can downgrade we will be paying 2 1/3 times as much. Wah.

Those cat 11s have been on and off the website but when you try to book them, you get an error. Something funny is going on. Believe me, I was watching!

We received a discount for sailing during Hurricane Jeanne! Our other friends (who just booked in January) are paying $1200 more than us-even with there discount! They did not pay their deposit when we all booked last May-so that is a costly mistake on their part.
