I just noticed talk about a GC meet. I am keeping a running list on the "other" site about who is staying on Disney property. Personally, I feel you can only have so many meets and we have so little time at DL as it is. That's just my personal feeling.

We don't want to place any additional burden on your DH, Susan! However, I believe the May cruisers asked whether the pin design could be used on a t-shirt. Would doing this cause John extra work??? Or is it just a matter of uploading the design to cafepress to have it available for order? It IS an awesome design, and I think it really would look great on a t-shirt, but ONLY if it doesn't mean extra work for him.

Let me tell you, if you want to go nuts with items, it is easy to think about. If Susan doesn't mind, you can get the pin design printed on TONS of things, T shirts, tote bags, fanny packs, beach towels. You name it and someone will reproduce it for you. All you need is permission from the art owner and the cash!

The May Repo cruisers mentioned that they are also considering making t-shirts and totebags with their pin design.

Between the Red Sox and Amazing Race T-shirts my husband gave me for Christmas, the Bringing the Magic Home T-shirt and possibly a pin t-shirt, I won't have to buy any new clothes for the cruise LOL

John's willing ... he'd was hoping someone would gift him a polo shirt out of the deal, but I warned him that I don't think polo shirts are on the horizon. His response:

I don't need any more tee-shirts, but polo, duffle, beach towel, coffee mug, whatever would be okay.

So, let me know what format you need the graphic in --- plus let me make sure he's ready for it to be used (he'll need to remove the copyright watermark of course). He'll probably be able to clean it up this weekend.

I assumed it would be uploaded to cafe press so anyone could use it. I love the idea of having the pic of the pin on a shirt or tote bag. If he could do this for us that would be great.

OK, to help out, I created a store at Cafe Press. When the artwork is done, I will upload it to the store and y'all can have at it! The link is (if it works here) http://www.cafepress.com/mickeyfan Right now there is NOTHING in there. I have to get all the products (shirts mostly) added and the artwork. I am NOT making any money on this, it is just a simplifies way for us ALL to be able to use the great pin design. If I have stepped on amyones toes, let me know and I will close the store quickly.


ETA - if this is OK for everyone, but there is something missing (long sleeved shirts or whatever) let me know that too.

This is a great idea. I was going to do the same thing since it makes things so much easier. Guess great minds think alike, lol. I am so glad you didn't pick Zazzle since you know I am not their biggest fan! Thanks for doing this. Don't forget to add the tote bag too. I know that is something that I will be buying with the shirts.

Think the idea of shirts etc for the pin design is awesome. Can't wait to find out all the neat stuff we can make.

Looks like we are back to winter, snow in forecast for tomorrow. Tough as we have a funeral to go to.

I mentioned last night that I've been working on a frame job for our cruise. This is a test version. I think that I will make the center area that now holds 3 pins in the shape of Mickey Mouse into 1 single round opening to hold a pin or medallion. Other changes are still coming, but I thought you'd like to see the work in progress. A very lucky cruiser will be the recipient of this piece. The photo that is inserted is for effect only. You'll will be putting your own photo in it's place...Mark

We bought our travel insurance. Now I just need DL tickets and transport from the airport to the hotel.

The mat and frame look fantastic. How do you do the lettering and other things colored the same? Is it photocopied onto the mat?

It looks great. So even things that aren't cut out like the holes for the photos are lazer engraved kinda? Technology is cool.
