Good morning everyone! What a fun discussion in chat last night, huh? Wow! We learn more and more about each other with each passing chat!

The only question is if that's a good or bad thing?

Even though the font is small (and I can't find a way to increase the size), I like the second chat the best. For all you French speaking folks, we had a misguided chatter last night looking for a foreign language room. I think we all left after that. Our clue was when we asked for her DIS name and she said "What's DIS?"

Our port is 15 to 20 minutes from the Long Beach Airport. I could look into shuttles for you...my gut feeling is "no."

I GOT PRICE QUOTES for this a couple of pages back and posted several threads about linking shuttles from the Budget on Ocean Blvd., Long Beach. However, if you are talking about coming from the airport, that would be another matter. The shuttles website is www.primetimeshuttle.com.

I can't believe it Bonnie alias DISNEY DUDETTE #1 has posted! She is really a great organizer! Sometimes myself (Disney Dudette #2) & Disney Dudette #3 just follow her around!

I thought I would be really depressed over the EAGLES loss but then I read the board & get really excited about the cruise

We are pretty much set except for Disneyland tickets & our flight from Orlando to Philadelphia. We can not go to WDW (but would love to go) because two of us have to get back to work. Did any one get a cheap flight from Orlando to Philadelphia that Saturday?

As for the flights to Philadelphia on 9/3 -- for the first time in my life I actually jumped on a reservation 11 months out and got a great price. I booked our return flights on US Air back on November and got the one-way for $79/pp. And for the first time in all our cruises, was actually able to get a Noon flight instead of having to wait until 4 p.m. Of course, US Air has a notorious habit of changing your flight times around, so who knows. And let's hope they are still in operation by then!

We are flying from Philadelphia to Las Vegas for the first leg of our trip and haven't been so lucky with prices. US Air wants $192 one way. So we might just go with Southwest. I've heard them referred to as a cattle call -- but I'd rather pay $89 one way than $192.

Keep trying because the prices are always changing. Go to US Air and go under the link for Go Fares - that's their newest thing and they have sales every week.

Could those folks who have requested bus service to MCO after the cruise PM me their departing airline and departure times. The airline info is to see which side of the airport you'll need to be dropped off at and the time is to coordinate the bus leaving the port and to make sure that those with earlier departures leave as early as possible.

Those intending to continue their already long vacation plans might want to take the bus to MCO for a car rental. The rates to pick-up and return to MCO is about 1/2 the cost of rentals from the port and dropping off at MCO.

Possible Bus To MCO after cruise-Update

Are there any more people interested yet?? Our total so far is 80, and there is room for 55 per bus or 110 passengers in total.

If we use Mears Transportation and manage to fill the bus (capacity 55) the final cost will be $7.29 per person. If bus leaves the Port by 10:00am or so, it should put us at Orlando Airport by 11:00am. Cost for bus is 401.25 and tip is included as per my contact. Departing Airline is needed to make sure you are dropped off at correct side of terminal.

Some people have mentioned the bus times seem a little late. We can make our pick up time anytime we want and if we have 2 buses they can have different pick up times.

SW vs USAir? ALthough SW doesn't assign seats, I have never had a problem with them. US Air, on the other hand has "misplaced" DHs luggage on the last 2 trips he flew with them, and thier ontime record is dismal. If you look at the flight you want you can see what the ontime departures and arrivals are averaging for it. I looked at one to go to DC tomorrow, it was on time less than 53% of the time!

Lanyard count is up to 182. There are still about 30 people from the post one list who have not read the PM, that's pretty good out of the 96 I sent. I am getting a LIME GREEN sample sent to me today. Once I get it, I will take a pic and post. I will PM my address to Renee and add the name tag, too.

If Susan doesn't mind, you can get the pin design printed on TONS of things, T shirts, tote bags, fanny packs, beach towels. You name it and someone will reproduce it for you. All you need is permission from the art owner and the cash!
