Hey Marsha - two things.

You have me on the list for lanyards right? Sorry, I forgot whether or not I asked.

The other thing - what part of NH are you from? You don't have to say if you don't want. Just curious. I'm in the Upper Valley.

Have I missed any other sign ups? I got the name tags, the bus, the lanyards, the Sunday meet, and we don't drink wine, so we probably won't do the wine tasting. Anything else? Sorry, the newbie wants to be in on the fun. Just tell me to stop and I will.

Back to "work" :rotfl2:

As long as everyone had so much fun yesterday with voting, here's another vote for you:

What should we call the monthly update? Passporterette, Navigatorette, Fools Rules & Events, Fools Update, or something else? I will tally the votes - ONE vote per DIS member and I break any ties (I gotta have some advantage since I'm doing the work ;) ) The results will not be posted here, but rather will be on the e-mail next week. The suspense will kill everyone :rotfl2:

Tracy

I knew I forgot something. I vote for Fools Rules & Events.

How about The Fools Gazette!
Whatever Bob says. Don't we have the copyright to anything that has "Fools" in it Bob? Jazz?

Cheers,

Yes, you are on the lanyard list, which has topped 100, now we need more people to get them!!!

I live in Hooksett. We moved to NH Dec 27, 2003. We lived in Londonderry till July in an old drafty horrible hell hole and then this place was finally finsihed in July. We anticipate moving again after July of 2006. South, maybe back to Georgia, maybe to Florida. I would rather FL as there is no income tax there and I live on a meager pension as I am retired. When the snow is gone I won't think about it everyday, but this sucks!

There will be a party at the HoJos at DL and at the Holiday Inn at the port on Friday night. Both ar drop in anytime and probably at the pools, no firm details yet. I think you linked your reservation with the early diners, so as to have you all on the same rotation. Should be a riot!

Running up my post counts................. I will be off line after this afternoon untill Tuesday. My DS, who is single and needs a girl friend in Colorado, will be here for the long weekend, so I am giving him my attention! Grumbo will be hosting the chat, no doubt!

Hey Mark, Tracy wants your email address and stuff.

Enjoy your time with your son, Marsha! We'll see you at Tuesday night chat (assuming Grumbo hasn't "banned" us all as of Saturday night! :rotfl2: )

We've only lived here (in Lebanon) since August of 1999. We rented until December 23, 2001 when we moved into our newly built house a mile down the road. We were hoping to move to Florida this September, but jobs just don't look good down there for DH, so we'll stay here for a few more years unfortunately. We would really rather move to Seattle, but our family is all on the east coast and the jobs are even more scarce there than in Florida. Oh well, such is life. Are you getting the really cold temps down there too? At least we're supposed to be above zero (my parents live in north-western Vermont and it's supposed to be zero if they're lucky). We just got our first *real* snow on Saturday/Sunday, so we now have about 14-16 inches. Much nicer than December 2003 when we got 2 Noreasters in a week (we were travelling on both of them back and forth to Florida).

I doubt we'll make the party at HoJo's because we'll be trying to do as much of Disneyland as we can in 2 days. We're also not linked with early dining because we have late dining. We may link with them (if they are), but I'm not sure yet.

Late diners are linking, I am sure the linker will contact you! We had snow all day Saturday, about 18 inches and then all day yesterday and last night about 8 more. It's only 4 right now!

You should be able to do all of DL/DCA in 2 days. The parks are much more compact than WDW, and they will have late hours.

DOn't worry over missing any parties at the hotels, the real party starts on Saturday.

Grumbo will be hosting the chat, no doubt!
Not this week :)
Another hockey tournament so we're heading out tomorrow morning and depending on how Meagan's team does won't be back til later on Sunday :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

I'm glad that we only got the snow we did. You can keep it. We don't want it. We got about 2 inches yesterday, but you would have thought it was a couple feet the way the city/state workers were having trouble cleaning the roads. They were awful yesterday.

We figure we should be able to hit most, if not all, of the things we want to in the 2 days. Except maybe the food. That's always the trouble, not enough meals to try everything.

Gee, too bad my single dd (no, not the married pregnant one ) has a boyfriend. We live in Denver. Where does he live?

Winter Park,he is a sous chef at a restaurant (The Shed) and also plays in a bar band, One Time Experience. They play in WP, Aspen, Denver, Utah, Wyoming, pretty much anywhere they can get booked. They just finished record a CD, the artowrk for the cover is getting done now. He is a big cruise and Disney fan, as well as music, especially Drum Corps, and of course cooking. Send some sensible girls his way! He will be 28 in August.

Actually, Kathy, that's a great website to keep on hand. Looks like there are some interesting movies coming out. And, of course, hopefully TV movie channels will be showing "The Incredibles" or "National Treasure" maybe.

Thanks for the info.

Cathy

Possible Bus To MCO after cruise-Update

Are there any more people interested yet?? Our total so far is 69, and there is room for 57 per bus

If we use Mears Transportation and manage to fill the bus (capacity 57) the final cost will be $7.04 per person. If bus leaves the Port by 10:00am or so, it should put us at Orlando Airport by 11:00am. Cost for bus is 401.25 and tip is included as per my contact.
