Disney is not sold out. They're giving you incorrect information. Even if you just go to the DCL website and do a search you'll pull up some open cabins.

I just did a search and got the following:

Yeah, methinks DCL wants to sell that cabin at the current price rather than offering you an upgrade at your original pricing tier price.

My TA said her DCL sales rep told her that "normally" you could upgrade at your original pricing tier ... but since these are "special" itineraries they make you pay the going rate ... so with that in mind we passed on upgrading from cat 7 to cat 5 (the going rate was going to have me paying $3,580 more!! no thanks)

Tracy: Glad your eyesight is so good. My eyes are so bad, that I would still have to wear glasses, even with the surgery. They can't correct them that much without problems. Too bad for me.

I happen to know that not too long Ago someone decided they needed a porthole that had an inside room , and was able to get the porthole for about $1000.00 more than the price they had paid.. opening day price tier..

So it seems to Be... whatever way they can get you...

For the record Dan & Scott, put us down for at least 20 pins (this is in addition to whatever Aunty Brat ordered). This should cover the rest of our little ol' group plus give us 3-4 to hand out as gifts to whomever....well, at least our TA Janis will get one (even if she won't be on our cruise).

We certainly will be the most decorated bunch on the cruise. Doors, t-shirts, lanyards, pins, id's. Too funny!
