Okay, this is what we might do.

We order pins setting LE size based on how many are preordered (I'm going to make sure there's a few extras when non dissers on the cruise say "hey, I want one" )

Since there isn't a lot of interest in medallions I might get 100 of them (minimum required order) so that those who want them can have them - I'll turn the rest into KEYCHAINS and sell those to whomever might want one.

As for the May cruise pin design hubby is working diligently right now (ignoring his chore to start making chili for the super bowl party ) and I think it's safe to say their pin will be TOTALLY different (and yet just as cool lookin' ) y'all might wanna trade for it (hint, hint)

Susan-their pin doesn't have to be cool! LOL Make sure it doesn't say FIRST on it!

Not a bad pin (ours is better) does it say Kingdom to Kingdom in the center? On my picture it looks like 00. Eyes may be going of course.

Personally I would like the lanyard medallian. I wouldn't neccessarily use it on the cruise but would love it for my main pin lanyard. As to the lanyard clips, I realized that a place like Michaels or any craft store would have them. Especially one that sells the plastic laces they used to make lanyards at summer camp. Maybe they don't do that anymore. But Girl Scouts probably still make that sort of thing.

DD is making her traditional hot onion dip for the game. This is the one meal that the family eats in front of the tv. So after the dip is ready DD and I will be straightening and cleaning up the family room. Other DD bought the family an ice cream cake shaped like a foot ball. She wanted to get paper plates in the nice Eagles green. Unfortunately they wanted $6.00 for 8. Felt that was way too much for plain green plates.

Couple of questions......

(1) DH is now working on a design for the May repo folks ... I get the impression they like our design and just want to tweak it a bit (BHTM changes to "Kingdom to Kingdom" and of course Eastbound becomes Westbound and the dates change) ... how do you guys feel about their pin looking a lot like ours? Would you prefer their pin be totally unique?

(2) for you lanyard wearing types, would you like a lanyard MEDALLION (for the end of your lanyard) that looks just like the pin we've designed??? It would be approximately the same size (2 inches across). It would cost slightly more but not gobs & gobs more.

--- do you think a 2" medaillion is big enough? If not what size??

As a point of reference, this Stitch lanyard medalllion is 2.5 inches tall and about 2 inches wide.

I don't think the medallion would come with a clip --- so the clip would either have to already be on the lanyard --- or we'd have to figure something out.

Hey Susan,

1. Should be different so that we could trade with them!

2. I would love to get two of those medallions! 2" should be fine since they are round.

As for clips, sure that any Craft Shop would carry them or you could always borrow from another lanyard.

Lynn - well done on the fund raiser - that was pretty phenomenal

And from this side of the pond, as we Brits head for our bunks, have a great evening watching the super bowl - we were in Boston (on a DVC exchange) on the night the Red Sox won the world series, and we know just how passionately y'all take your games - so may the best team win - and at least you've got a Brit for the half time show - makes a change from the Janet and Justin show.

Sorry, I have to beg to differ!

Disneyland has never officially been called "The Magic Kingdom." Since it opened it's name has been Disneyland. There's only one Magic Kingdom and it isn't anywhere near CA.

Of course that isn't to say that Disneyland isn't magical!
