Obviously not enough sleep! I left the office at nearly 3 this morning, but Lara was cheefully greeting me before 8 am this morning! She wanted me to watch TV with her! I've had a bath and washed my hair so I'm starting to feel human.

That is so awesome about the trip!!! I've seen the promos for FFF on Omni but I don't get control of the TV enough to watch or enter! I just told Lara your news - first she was wildly jealous ("But she just went to Disney AND she's going back for Christmas!") but then I told her Sandals is an Adults-Only Resort! Suddenly, she's very glad WE didn't win and she's feeling sorry for Tanya because you're going to go off and leave her home!

Congratulations! Work is gonna love it!!!!

Mark-- I have to admit that I fell for the story at first but then it got a little to far out and I figured it was something you either made up or found. But I did LOL and also enjoyed the posts from today. Seems we women manage to come up with the best lines.

Rain here in the Northeast. Had to go and get our turkey. We live quite close to Jaindl's. They are the company that provides the turkey for the White House. So we go there and get ours too. This years' is 25 pounds. Last year was a 20 pounder but we only had enough left for sandwiches one night. Just not enough. Going to be 13 of us but two of them don't eat turkey. So they get shrimp and Haddock grilled on the barbeque.

Just popping in to say that our school board OK'd our calendar to start after Labor Day so we are absolutely going on the trip. I'm going to check out airfare sometime soon.

Does anyone know if the west-bounders know anything more about their cruise activities?

Great news, Kathy!!!

From my "lurking" on the westbound thread, there hasn't been any info so far about their activities, other than there will be a new show produced for the California cruises. In fact, some of their people are going on the 10 day Christmas cruise and THAT trip's details have just been finalized! We're in for a long wait!

Could it be that our Sisterhood leader's absence this weekend has brought this thread to a near-standstill? What will we do during her pending two-week absence?!?!

I'm back at the office again (alone and scared because the building is old and creepy) fixing some problems that have cropped up as a result of Friday's upgrades.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to tell you all that our Halloween cruise on the Magic was wonderful. The service and food was the best yet of our 7 cruises with Disney.
Our, Dis board members, Trick-or-Treating this year went well. We had almost 60 children attending and I think there was 30 staterooms involved. The kids had a great time and they where loaded down with goodies.

Now we are really looking forward to our next one with everyone here.

I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

I am back everyone!! Had a nice time with family and my sis had a baby shower too... Good to be home!! I am tired but not too tired to get ready to go!!!

If we use Mears Transportation and manage to fill the bus (capacity 57) the final cost will be $7.04 per person. If bus leaves the Port by 10:00am or so, it should put us at Orlando Airport by 11:00am.

It has come to this department's attention that a cavalier attitude has recently been showed to employees during their release procedure.

In one recent event, a manager mocked, nay laughed at an employee as he was signing his final papers before leaving the building.

This procedure must be handled in the appropriate manner dictated by the management handbook. All employees, current or newly released must be treated in the same fashion to avoid conflicts and possible litigation.

Failure to adhere to company policy can result in a 3 second burst from a taser!!
