However, the fact that she thought for a moment represents a first and new high for this group!

After speaking to Bob, Marianne and Ken, we all seem think it has something to do with Duct Tape and Lime Green Jello.

I have a picture of what you did on your last cruise.

Hi everyone!

All ready for Hallowe'en here! The pumpkins are carved and all my Disney decorations are hanging up or on display! I have the "Party in a Box" from several years ago that had the Mickey Pumpkins and Lanterns, as well as all the cool banners (Mickey bats and pumpkins!) I added this year's "Party in a Box" to get the cool Window Decorations which are hanging in our porch enclosure. I greet kids at the door holding my Vampire Stitch, while "Kitty" Sully sits on the candy table.

DH just shook his head ...

LOL - Sunday School was just fine this morning, Barbara. Despite the kids all being hyper about Hallowe'en, we managed to get through the story of Zaccheus. Actually, it was a good one for today - I let the kids climb all over pretending they were Zaccheus trying to see Jesus through all the crowds. Let some steam off anyways!

Lara has two Disney costumes - we had her photo taken this afternoon wearing the elaborate "Deluxe Cinderella" costume the D-Store had last year. (Initially I thought it was Little Bo Peep from Toy Story, but Lara showed me Cinderella wearing it in the new movie Cinderella II - Dreams Come True.) She also had the long blonde wig (could be either Cinderella or Aurora) and looked just beautiful. However, it's still nearly floor length so she's worried about tripping on it going door-to-door. I fully agree, so she's going to wear this year's "Lizzie McGuire" costume with the bell bottom sequin pants and satin top. There's room under it for lots of layers (the temp this evening will only be around 45 degrees F. Temps are in Celcius here, so I'm never quite sure of the conversion - 8 Celcius is not too warm, and there's a brutal west wind today!)

Have a great night, everyone! Be safe out there, and try to let the kids have at least some of the candy they bring home! You know the system when checking it - one for you, one for me - one for you, two for me! LOL

Holidays like this help me retain my "Pooh-esque" figure!:jester:

Don't talk to my family!!!!!!

:rotfl:

Gee, if i only look that young!!! Looks comfy though!!

Bob told me i have weird on-line friends!!!  I think i am beginning to agree!!

Well, most of you are probably trick-o-treating with your kids, stay safe and have fun! We'll be doing the same on the pacific coast in about 3 hours.

Arlene, glad you made it through Sunday school, lol! Good lesson for today, good teacher!

OK, I too for a minute thought Mark's "story" was true until I read further. My heart dropped and then I was glad it was another of his antics, lol! Funny, funny story!!!

OK, I must get some work done, it's too easy to procrastinate instead with our thread, just cause' it's fun!

BTW, after 9 delivery attempts since the end of July, Sears finally delivered our new washer and dryer today with only a few scratches. Have already gotten 100.00 back and supposedly have $350 coming back in gift cards...we'll see. Went with Sears due to the consumer guide reviews, have never had such difficulties...beward ya' all!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

No way, Melinda! With the way our luck was running for awhile there, I believed it too until I continued reading. Gullible me!!!

It's now 6:00 here, and IT'S POURING RAIN!!!!! This was NOT in the forecast! It may be a quick "trick or treat" this year!

Arlene

It's also going to be a cold, icky trick-or-treat here in Denver...in the 40s, with rain turning to snow. It's already starting to sprinkle. The kids don't care! :umbrella:

Here in the Great Northwest we are having some pretty decent weather today. Should have lots of "Trick or Treaters" tonight!

Paul

Top 10 signs that you'r too old to Trick or Treat!

10. You get winded from knocking on the door.

9.You have to have another kid chew the candy for you.

8. You ask for high fiber candy only.

7. When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and fall over.

6. People say, "Great Keith Richards mask!" and you're not wearing a mask.

5. When the door opens you yell, "Trick or..." and can't remember the rest.

4. By the end of the night, you have a bag full of restraining orders.

3. You have to carefully choose a costume that won't dislodge your hairpiece.

2. You're the only Power Ranger in the neighborhood with a walker.

1. You avoid going to houses where your ex-wives live.

I love this equipment for the cruise. Will JGE allow us to preorder this so we can make sure our cabin hosts have them set up before we arrive? I know that my group will need at least 3. This will be so much easier than duct taping the teens to their parental units when then make us crazy later on....assuming the cliff diving excursion is not as successful as hoped....by the way, I was wondering if we could practice catipulting them ahead of the ship? You know, fling a few Canadian Tire Dollars out into the water ahead of the ship and then let the little cherubs go diving for them via the catipult....I am sure we would catch up with them later on....I love teenagers......no wait....that was hangovers...

Ohhh, Mark, I see your name and I think to myself....just what entertainment might come my way this time. I'm just SOOOO sure that you have a serious bone in the body somewhere....out of the 206 there has got to be ONE.....

Well, Halloween is over for another year. We had T or T'ing from 4-7 this year and it is still a balmy 66 degrees. That is a downright heat wave for Central Massachusetts on Halloween night. Couldn't have asked for a better night. My husband, Pete and I take turns walking with Mary. This was my year and Pete is watching the Patriots, sadly, on this night. We aren't used to losing anymore.

Yep, my kids just got in and are now sitting on the floor in my family room checking out the candies.

Just think, next Halloween, we would have already gone on the Panama Cruise...

Aunty Brat, could not agree with you more...Mark will need to be our Master of Ceremonies throughout the cruise, though I think he prefers to operate behind the back curtain...who knows...will Sandra reveal his identity for payback of years and years of his antics?!!!

Mom2Belle&PeterPan- As hard as it is to fathom, Sandy is the more outgoing. I'm sure Sandy would be more then happy to assist all of you in some kind of payback. Then again I'm sure most of your mates would be willing to teach each and every one of you a little lesson too ;)...Mark

One more thing, we have early seating, does anyone want to link ressies for dinner? I know it's early, but it's something to start thinking about.

It'd be a pleasure to link up with some fellow "Fools" for dinner. Would DCL give us a section to ourselves?? We'll need a list...Mark
