For all our fellow cruisers who aren't sure if they are truly old yet. He's a simple list to help you figure it out!

Old Is When...

"OLD" IS WHEN..... Your sweetie says, "Let's go upstairs and make love," and you answer, "Honey, I can't do both!"

"OLD" IS WHEN..... Your friends compliment you on your new alligator shoes and you're barefoot.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... A sexy babe catches your fancy and your pacemaker opens the garage door.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... Going bra-less pulls all the wrinkles out of your face.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... You don't care where your spouse goes, just as long as you don't have to go along.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... You are cautioned to slow down by the doctor instead of by the police.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... "Getting a little action" means I don't need to take any fiber today.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... "Getting lucky" means you find your car in the parking lot.

"OLD" IS WHEN..... An "all nighter" means not getting up to pee.

I am laughing out so loud here and no one is here, perhaps my neighbor heard me instead!!!
Gotta to show the picture to my parents!!! Maybe they will feel better????!! :hyper2: :bitelip:

Grumbo told his parents that they must pay their own way, and he even suggested some ways for them to earn some money.

Keep it up Mark!!!!

Now i got tears in my eyes!!

Yikes, maybe i need Depends...

Be right back!!!

Boy, you guys are in trouble!!

As my wife was cleaning me up after wetting myself while sitting at the computer, she saw what I was laughing at. Boy, was she peed off!!! (Maybe that was "peed on")

She is starting to collect room #s (thank you Jazzman - knew that list on page one would come in handy). All of you involved can expect daily early morning wake ups and forced "mall walks" around deck 4 at 4am. Bring your sneakers and bright pink sweat suits!!!

I'll be sitting and watching and laughing my *** off in my plaid walking shorts, striped shirt, high black socks and black dress shoes!!

I thought brown sandals were the appropriate accompanyment to black socks!

I've been on these Holland American cruises before, and I know the proper dress code. It is Black Dress Shoes!!

Wait...what am I doing her on a Disney Cruise website????

Oh. crap, I booked the wrong cruise!!!!!!!

My aunt who is a cruise fanatic, calls the Holland America Cruise a Geriatric Ship!!!

Bob, relax, put the cane down, Black shoes, it is...

Let the old folks have it their way, guys!! Can't train an old dog new tricks!!!:hyper:

:cat:

Melinda, we are also about to be 60 (actually I will be but the lurker won't). Sort of conservative. DH will do well sittling on deck 4 with out a rum and coke.
Boy does that bring back memories. My Mom drank those.
I think the linking of dining is a great idea. We have late to we would be joining EileenAmI. Jen and Al (I've forgotten her user name) are also on late seating.

I am glad I have the thread to read. Seem to be coming down with either the flu or the lurkers' cold. But the thread gives me plenty of laughter.
Bob your comment about booking the wrong cruise actuall had both the lurker and I laughing. If you booked the wrong cruise would you be interested in selling your cabin? I think I can find a few Canadian Tire dollars around.

Yeah I know, nice try.

Estelle

Mark, Do you think that we should be concern due to the fact that it is a "verandah" room??

Estelle, maybe you will meet my mom at the Dismeet, if i can get her to go!!

Good song, Eileen...Think the crew would let the band play it at the BonVoyage party???

Melinda,

We can only hope! Can't you just see 400 people singing those words while the rest of the crowd stares (in awe of course)!

With just over 300 days to go I thought of a few things to do while waiting for our cruise to get here.

Ring the front doorbell six short, one long blast and assemble the family outside for life boat drill.

Twist your pajamas into animal shapes.

Sing karoke in the shower. (Cordless mike recommended).

Take all the paintings off your wall and hold an art auction.

Attend local "Friends of Bill W" meetings and tell them you're a cruisaholic.

Cook up a midnight buffet.

Watch "Love Boat" (original series) on cable, tape segments and re-watch throughout the day.

Give family a floor plan of the house with directions to the dining room. Tell them tonight is formal.

Stick a pink paper umbrella in your morning coffee.

Hang a card on your bedroom door before retiring at night, wait for room service to wake you in the morning with fresh coffee.

Make bingo at the local church a scheduled family activity.

Flush your toilet five times to simulate sound of evac plumbing.

If you are the person doing all this work, distribute small envelopes and tipping guidelines.

Mark,

You must have a bunch of extra time on your hands. The list is great. Here's a couple more-

Tomorrow stand at the front door with the same karoke system and announce your kid's names when they walk in the door from school.

Eat in a white wall room and midway through the meal throw a bunch of colored paint on the walls
