OMG!! I've been out of commssion lately with moving & what not, and come back to learn about the Ritter family.

I don't know what to say, but my heart goes out to Lynda and her family....

While there are oftne threads regarding passing of parents, friends, relatvies, etc, NONE has hit me the way this did. I have thought of it each and every day since it happened. I know I have never met these people, but it feels so personal, I have not felt this type of sadness since my own father dies 10 years ago. I know that time will help heal the wound, but this tragedy will stay in my heart forever. I have cried over this laoss, and still tears come, even today.

I hope that Lynda will make it back to our thread here one day, and I do hope they will be able to make it on this cruise.


On a much lighter note, I finally got my DCL Planning DVD today, it took about 5 weeks.

It was with shock and disbelief that I read about this tradgedy. I have been away from the boards for a few weeks. I feel like EmmasGrammy is part of our family since we all got to know her and her wonderful family through her daily posts and her trip report.

I was just checking to see if there was any news on Sophie.

This tragedy has hit me hard too for some reason.

I hope that Lynda and Mike will still cruise with us next year so we can all give them hugs in person.
