We ended up ordereing 5 shirts from Zazzle. Had no problems! The shirts even arrived before I was expecting them.

For our DISmeet only 2 people showed up in lime green shirts. There were no Disney shirts at all. A couple of others had some Disney pins to trade. Mostly shorts and casual clothes since we had 100 degree weather and outside seating. I hope you all have a wonderful DISmeet.

Take note of the DVC points for DL...I called DVC today...I know you were lurking at the May Repo forum but the points are NOT the same as the May month in DL...The points are higher in August!! about 10 points more per night because May is low season and Aug is peak season...DVC will post the points over the weekend, so they say...

Looks like the May Repo has the best of everything!!! (low season, another port, cooler weather)

Yeah but our pricing started out at a lower tier than theirs (TA told me that Aug repo started at tier 5 pricing while May repo started at tier 8 pricing).

AND all of us will be on the Aug repo cruise too!!

For those of you following the Democratic National Convention/John Kerry....watch the news tomorrow night (Friday) because John Kerry/John Edwards and Ben Afleck will be coming to the hometown that I grew up in and the town that I currently work in.....Scranton, PA. It is the first stop in his campaign since being nominated. I work at a hospital here in Scranton and Security is part of my department and we have already been visited by Secret Service personnel and the local police department and contingency plans have to be in place just in case something should happen. Big happenings in a small town and it will be a mad house...lots of streets are already blocked off and manhole covers and mailboxs have been checked, etc. We have heard that Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric are in town and will do their shows from Scranton!! I am off tomorrow, thank goodness.

If that is customer service I'll eat my hat. I would complain loud and long if you don't get the shirts. I'll be wearing one of my shirts on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Melinda sorry you won't be there but sometimes family just comes first.
Can't wait to see the news tomorrow. Melinda is right we do get the Scranton news down here.
Off to assist DH in replacing the leg that came off a small table tonight. Our youngest DD says the house is falling down and we should just tear it down and build a new one. DH says maybe after you finish college. Until then glue holds all sorts of things together.

The guy that answered the phone when I called today was named Greg. When I asked about my order, he transferred me to Charles, who is the original person I spoke to on Tuesday. I really wish I had the name of a person in charge there, but I'm definitely sending the email even if I get the shirts since I don't feel I was treated fairly.

But gee what is 2-3 hours among friends?
I got a lime green hat to send to Aunty Brat. Got markers and we can all sign it tomorrow and then I will mail it on Monday.
The kitchen work is now finished! Yea!! Now all I have to do is wait for the new garbage disposal.
The brite light in the sky is gone again. So far there isn't any water falling from the sky but looks like it might anytime now. Just what we need more rain. Things are really green and the grass is growing even as you look at it. AAH summer.

Watch your national news at 6:30 p.m.--supposedly Tom Brokaw is doing the national news from my hometown (and the town where I currently work) after being here to cover the John Kerry/John Edwards stop in Scranton, PA. Big happenings for a small town. Ben Affleck was here also and the Heinz boys certainly are reallly good looking! And no, I was not in the crowd even though I could have gotten a ticket yesterday and I was off of work today!!

Well, I got home from work and guess what?? No shirts. I just got off the phone with Charles (the same guy I spoke with Tuesday and yesterday). He has no explanation as to why I didn't get the shirts. They were never even made! I told him about the internet boards and all these posts that people made about this. Now he is supposedly looking into the problem and will call me back since I told him I am going to update my posts with what he says.

He called me back and told me that there was a problem making one of the shirts yesterday, and they couldn't get it done in time to send out. He gave me a DHL tracking number and told me that they would be delivered tomorrow (Saturday). This would be fine, but we're going to a DIS meet in Pennsylvania tomorrow (which is why I wanted the shirts by tomorrow) and are leaving the house at 8:30 am. I know there is no way that DHL is going to deliver the shirts before 8:30 am so this doesn't help me. At least if I do get the shirts, then I'll have them for the cruise.

He then told me how sorry he was that they weren't made and delivered for today and that he knows how good a Company's service is depends on whether or not a customer comes back. He had a very different attitude today than what he did yesterday. I wonder if he somehow managed to find and read my posts. Anyway, I still don't have my shirts. I guess I'll see if they're here when I get home tomorrow, and I will post another update either tomorrow or Sunday.

There's still hope that this problem might be fixed even if it is a little late. Still doesn't change the fact that I won't be ordering from zazzle.com anymore since I don't want to have to go through this again.
