:flower3:

Thanks for the welcome! I forgot to mention that we're coming from Missouri (Kansas City area).

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking but today I decided to join and post a hello! We are booked on the Aug 1 cruise as well!

It is our 3rd Disney cruise but our first 7-day cruise. There are four of us, my husband & I plus our two sons, ages 12 and 14. The 14-year old turns 15 on Monday, Aug. 3 ... one of our "at sea" days!!

D23 looks to be some sort of Disney fan club site. If you do a Google search for it you will see it.

Looking forward to August 1!!

:welcome: aboard! We're like you...this will be our 3rd cruise, but our first 7-night. Hope you can join our Dis Meet on embarkation day - 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge!

Thanks Kim -that explains everything:thumbsup2

What are you doing up - it must be very late there?

It was about 10:30 my time. I can't believe I was still up, too! We took the 2nd graders from our school to a Seattle Mariners baseball game for a field trip, so I was pretty exhausted when I came home!

I am the one who is in bed by 8:30 PM. And looking forward to see you again tommorow night babe.:thumbsup2

ScubaD (me) is the husband of Disneymom8589 and I have been out of town this week (but what is new???) I will have to introduce myself to her as we board the Magic.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Field trips are always exhausting - I did not realise your time difference was so different to Florida time.

Welcome on board

We have a few things up and running for our cruise - take a look at the very first post in this thread(pg1) and it has all the details of our dis meet , gift bag exchange and FE exchange - also it has a list of all the families on out cruise and where they come from.

So glad you could join us:cheer2:

Welcome to all of our new group members!!!

Please share how old your kids are - mine get excited when they hear about kids that are near their ages (mine are DS 11 and DD 7 [but joining the 8 year old group for the cruise!])

My kids are close in age to yours -DD is 11 and DS just turned 9 yesterday:)

This is great! I am really excited to see kiddos in the same age groups as mine (12 & 14-turning-15). Even though it's not our first Disney Cruise, I was expecting more "little" kids ... nice to see the teens and pre-teens. My boys are a bit reticent and shy, and haven't been interested in the kids' clubs on past cruises. I'm hoping they will meet some kids to hang out with onboard!

I am so excited about the cruise itself that I went dress shopping last week, resulting in an eye roll from DH because "it is too early" to shop. (As if it's ever "too early" too shop, LOL!)

I agree its never to early to shop.

I have going to two weddings before the cruise (one May and one June)

I bought 2 dresses today and thought I could wear them for the weddings and also the cruise -multifunctional - bargin :thumbsup2

I also bought another 4 pairs of shoes - but thats another matter - I think I have a problem:rotfl:

And Kim purchased a wedding dress for our daughter's wedding (will also work on the cruise) plus a cruise dress.:cool1::thumbsup2

Woo Hoo!!

Dave

wow post 500 on this thread :thumbsup2

Congrats to all the shoppers.

I am really looking forward to this cruise.

:thumbsup2
