Good luck with the husband helping you get ready. I have the month of August for vacation and my wife is still at work until Friday. I made the mistake of asking her when she plans to start packing our bags

Did I say something wrong

Oh yeah, she is going to braid all three girls hair so that they won't want to get it done on the ship or at Castaway Cay.

Hello everyone,

Well, don't ask me how we did it, but we are all packed. Well........almost. Still have a few last minute things to do. We just crammed a bunch of stuff for FE gifts...we have so many....probably will go round twice. DD #1 and DD #2 both went shopping, and so did I....talk about organized.

We leave Tuesday in "shifts"...DW and I leave first, then DD with kids, and then DD with new hubby. All meeting at airport in Orlando...then off to WDW and the BCV for pre-cruise R and R.

I think I found 3 Pirate costumes in the garage...so both sons in law have one....the girls are panicked.....we guys are all decked out and they ...well...they're girls so they can get away with anything...a sash here, an headband there....voila! A Wench!

See you all at 3PM at Promenade Lounge.

We have 3 days until we hit the ship for the 3-day (then the 4 day with you all!) It dawned on me yesterday that the ship was gone on its 4-day and when it comes back we board. So much to do and so little time! I am the type A one and the rest of the family is too laid back. Oh well.....

I am getting a little scared because every one is like already packed and alomost ready and i am leveing like 3 am on wednesday and honestly i have not even started packing yet neither has my dad but he really does not care on wut he is wearing so that helps him but not me i really need to get started lol.

I don't really understand much from the website, but my DH just called from work and asked if we need to be worried about hurricanes. I told him not to worry b/c the ship can always take an alternate route, but it's still something to think about...

Just a little background about me.. I have the worst luck when it comes to vacations. Everytime I go on vacation something bad always happens.. even if it's something little like getting lost, realizing the hotel I booked on line isn't so nice, or spraining my toe last year in Castaway Cay. I'm a jinx... With that being said.. I hope nothing bad happens and we all have a great time. And please no rain in WDW.. I can't stand walking around in ponchos.

No you didn't!!!LOL
I am happy to report DH did 3/4 of laundry, oil change, and visited insurance agent.
Now off to last football practice before we leave. I am just dropping off then back to a quiet house to finish preparations.
We leave tomorrow!!!!

Did we decide to meet at the Poly pool on the 17th around 2 or 3pm? And at the lounge in the Poly at 6pm before P&PP? I've got the Promenade Lounge meet straight, but I'm fuzzy about the others.

I also have packing envy! I started laying the kids things out last night, but I'm worse than a snail this week!! Can't believe you get to go tomorrow!! I'll be in on Thursday!! Terri

At least there's hope for you.....you thought to ask if you said something wrong!! I'm a huge Eagles Fan too!! Will you be catching the game tonight? We are flying out of Philly on Thursday, when are you leaving?

Hello Terri,

I'm watching the game right now I'm trying to get back in the good graces of the wife. I will take the suv for inspection tomorrow so that I won't have to do it when I get back.

We leave Saturday morning out of Philly and will stay in Orlando overnight. We hope to get up early Sunday and catch a number 2 boarding number. I will have my Eagles hat on in the terminal

I agree. I have so many pictures with those yellow ponchos on. At one point, I sent one of those email poast cards from EPCOT to a FL friend. Her reaction was "When did they add a duck ride to WDW?"

Guess I shouldn't wear my Ravens hat should I????? I will be incognito with a Disney Hat. 48 hours and counting for us. Everyone have a safe trip...those going to WDW- have a blast. See you at the Promenade on Sunday.

Hey, Everybody -
I feel like we're the last ones leaving home! We fly out @ 7:40 on Sunday, straight to MCO, rent the car, and hit the highway for the port. I'll watch for the DCL busses on the road. Hope you all have smooth travels, no delays, no medical conditions. If an "H" is around, may it be close while we're at sea, and we need extra days to sail around it! See you all there!

We rock & roll. Seriously it should be no problem. 5 day window of probability has it outside of the Dominican on Sunday. They should have more accurate readings at that point. The ship can sail away from it. In 2005 we sailed with one. Never even noticed it at sea....when we got back to Canaveral flights and all were delayed. Surf was a little rough but the Captain did dock at Castaway Cay. Just keep your fingers crossed.

wow... what will we all be doing at this time next week? well, i can tell you one thing that it won't be... it won't be cruisin. when i said that to my mom at about 1:00 this afternoon she basically told me to shut it. hahahaha
