I think Brunch and tea are both offered and both sea days. I am hoping that is the case...that's usually how it works on the 7 days.

I heard from my TA. Didn't get anywhere there. She stated and I quote:

I checked with Disney Cruise Line and Category 4 is still at guaranty status
and there are no staterooms available for assignment. On the bright side,
this could mean a complimentary upgrade to Category 3. It is a long shot,
but there is that glimmer of hope.

So, I'm still in limbo..... Sucks!

Don't want to burst your bubble, not that I think you believe her but you TA is giving you a load of crap. I know from calling disney that there are no 3 available and that the only way you can get one is if someone cancels last minute, but as of now they're all PIF. I also know there are a load of cat 4's . If as a TA she can't find out that information, then she seems to be somewhat useless...I hope it's not a friend, but I would switch TA's.

I agree with you. I'm with Dreams, mainly for the OBC I'm getting. I usually book these things directly myself, but with such a port intensive cruise and knowing how much excursions cost. I thought it was a good idea for the extra 500 they're giving me. I will admit I'm not too happy with them....

but on a happier note, t-47 minutes to booking!!!!!!!

Well to all my friends that will be booking tonight...I wish you good luck in getting what you want or what you need. Do not be too frustrated if the system goes down, it's bound to happen with all the people that will be on it tonight. It was down for me, I couldn't book until the next morning and that happened to me last time too.....but I wish you all better luck then me.

I have a 9 year old DD and a 9 year old DS

My girls are going to have a lot of fun with all the kids their age. DW and I are watching TLC so we can book out excursions.

Looks like DW and I have booked what we wanted and I got the Palo slots I wanted (except for Tea, all booked).

Looking forward to renting a car in Villefranche (the local Hertz office will pick up/drop off at the port). It looks to be about $100/day. My main goal is to get to Monaco and Cannes the same day.

Now I'm so excited about the trip, hopefully I can get to sleep.

So I've been torn about giving my 9 year olds sign out priveleges from the kids club. My DS's actions yesterday made it clear to me what I must do. I went to pick the kids up at aftercare. My DD said she had left her jacket on the playground, so my DS offered to go get it. After waiting for him for a few minutes, he didn't come back, so we went to look for him. We saw him in the distance squatting on the ground looking at something and then he ran off. So my DD and I walked over to the playground, got her jacket, but couldn't find my DS. He finally runs out from behind some trees. When asked what he was doing, he said he had seen a gopher and was chasing it. I asked him if he was a dog and gave he a lecture about animals that bite.

So basically he never got the jacket, because the gopher distracted him...thus my question is answered, no sign out priveleges. Lord knows what would distract him on his way back to the cabin and then I'd spend time panicked looking for him.

Mindy - based on what happened yesterday and what you've told me about your son, I agree with your decision. So far, I have given my 9YO sign out, we'll see if it remains. I can always remove the privilege on board if I think it's necessary.
