I have a cross between capris and long shorts....long enough to cover the knees....

I bought a couple of longer skirts from old navy.

I'm gonna wear capris.

I figure on wearing capris and dresses since dresses are so easy to pack and light. Being that we are traveling from Europe we are only aloud one bag per person and that might be a little tight. If need be we will just have to pay for another bag.

So I just had a real scary incident. For some reason, I told DH to call the hotel directly and confirm our hotel ressies. Don't ask me why, I just did. They told him that they had a record of it, but it had been cancelled. Well since we booked it through 1800hotels we had paid for it already so we were pretty pissed, left messages on customer service line. Dh did some research and found out the company declared bankruptcy last week and all outstanding ressies were cancelled.

We called the cc that we paid for the hotel on and they said we would be credited the amounts back, so that's good. Then I started doing research on new hotels and everything was 2-3x the price. (thanks Lori for all the info). Then DH suggested I call our original hotel and see if they'd give us back our ressie with our credit card. They said they would and I just sent over the info. I"m awaiting confirmation now, but they're rates were far better than anyone else's and they had a family room. It's in the same vicinity of the Novotel, but closer to the port.

I only had paid $186 per night so I was pretty annoyed...hopefully it works out.

That is terrible. I hope it all works out.

It will... Things seems to move slower over there, i've noticed. It's also 8PM, so just about dinner time, so they might be changing shifts.....

You couldn't have said that better. Things in Europe move at a snails pace. You get used to it but it can be a pain when you are trying to get things done. For instance, taking 3 months to get your phone turned on (that would be us).

I know quite a while ago you gave me the link for the HOHO bus in Barcelona. There seem to be a bunch of different ones and I can't seem to find the one that I was looking at them. I went back through the boards but I can't seem to find it. Can you you resend?

well, we have made a decision to bring our stroller/infant car seat combo travel system. DH does not trust the cab drivers in barcelona enough to not bring it even though it is "legal" in the city not to have a seat. Plus, dd is not really sitting up by herself for very long and it might be nice to have it at dinner. That and the stroller itself fully reclines and this could come in handy while walking around the ship late at night. REALLY hoping that she learns to sleep in it!!! If she does, I might just try to put us on the wait list for late seating!!

Except for 2 grommets I was shorted in the package I bought, our pirate costumes arrrgh complete! (get it....arrrrgh )

Even got a swimsuit coverup for DD made!

Started throwing stuff to pack on the spare room bed.

Any one have a travel hair dryer to recommend?

I saw DH in his ...very cute....I have a conair...I may not bring it, my room has a hairdryer....

I can't stand those wall-hung ones! They end up shutting off half way thru a dry, then you have to wait for them to cool before resuming....

I'll be sporting the drip dry look!!! My hair takes WAY too long to dry using my reg hair dryer, so I never dry it!!! Ponytail while wet and I'm good to go!!!!!

I'm planning on bringing one, as I am so not a drip-dry kinda gal. The hair is too short and I've developed some odd curly cowlicks on a head of ramrod straight hair.

I've looked at some "travel" sized dryers, but they just don't seem very small anymore...

The list on Page 145 is correct. I will move it up to around here.

One person decided not to do it, but they weren't on the list anyway, otherwise I haven't heard from anyone else that they wanted to be put on or removed.
