How sad that it is the last day of your vacation...but it sounds like you had a wonderful time! Glad you were able to get away and do something wonderful.

We did have a wonderful time. This was DS's first flight and he enjoyed it immensely. He loved spending time with his Glamma/Grammy in the pool & beach. And, Barbados was beautiful.

I need that shirt to wear when I try to run my first 5K. That way, I'll be making a statement when I cross the finish line last.

Very nice. The one thing that I can already hear people complaining about is that the tables in the middle of the room won't be able to interact with Flounder and whoever else pops up.

I am far from experienced (having just run my first race), but I'm glad I have that experience under my belt. I was really nervous before the race, not knowing what to expect. And I learned the hard way about the need to watch my pacing more closely. I think it was definitely a worthwhile experience, and I think the more races I run, the more comfortable I'll be with it. I'm planning to run several other local 5k and 10Ks before the October race. I really want to be able to enjoy my Disney race, and running races before then is my way of trying to make sure that happens.

Good point, maybe I sould start running the local 5K's. I can't wait till October!!!

Hey everyone! I finally got the cruise graphic in my signature. I had to make the kiddos smaller, but no biggie there.

Hope everyone is doing well! We have a crazy busy week with all the activities going on. I don't know what I am going to do when my boy is seven and my girl is 13. I might go insane trying to get everyone everywhere. I don't know how you parents of multiple kiddos pull it off.

Anyway, tomorrow is our 10 year anniversary and the day after will be the 10 year anniversary of our first trip together (both my husband and I had been to Disney before we met) to Disney World and our first cruise! Man, what that trip started. We've been to Disney World every year since that we didn't have a child, and five Disney cruises! Can't wait until next year for cruise number six!

Hope everyone is doing well! We have a crazy busy week with all the activities going on. I don't know what I am going to do when my boy is seven and my girl is 13. I might go insane trying to get everyone everywhere. I don't know how you parents of multiple kiddos pull it off.

I'll tell you how I do it, my daughter gets the fall sport (cheerleading) and my son gets the spring sport (soccer). It makes things so much easier knowing that I won't be running all weekend long with multiple sports going on at the same time.
BTW happy anniversary, we celebrate #16 next month, doesn't the time just fly by?

Good point. As an aside, wondering if there will be seafood on the menu - "fish are friends, not food" right?! Could make for some interesting interactions!

Shmoogirl, looks like I'm one of the crazy moms going back and forth between sports schedules. I'm actually home before 8PM tonight!!! So now I'm going backwards with the posts - I have so much to catch up on!

I am so excited that your sister is cruising before us...I want details! Make sure she knows she must take thousands of photos and write EVERYTHING down!

I am so glad that you like the shirt!!! And, yes, I'm going to pester my siter like crazy for details!! It will be their first Disney cruise. I wish she could have joined us on our cruise but the kids in Vegas go back to school alot earlier than those of us in NY (and other northern states)...

Shmoogirl, our cousins from VA are waitlisted for an inside cabin on the cruise. They're in Fredericksburg now but grew up in Centreville... I'm heading to Charlottesville for a week in August. I love Virginia.

Today was a beautiful day. The weather was very nice - bright and sunny. I was able to spend some of it outside playing with DS who turned 3 today. I cannot believe that is he is 3 already.

Hey everyone!!

I just booked this cruise and from the looks of it by the hair of my chinny chin chin. The lowest priced room I could get was with a verandah and it's located near the midships elevator. But I'm ok with that since we never seem to be in there very long.

I know there are a few cruisers on this trip that were on my last cruise (Mickey's So Long Summer Cruise; 8/29/09) so I'm looking forward to seeing some "old" faces as well as meeting everyone else. To jog your memories, we were the family with the DH who lost his passport and driver's license three days before we were sailing! Also, we still have the bracelets!

I will most likely be participating in the FE's as well if that's ok...

We are me, Cayley, my husband Paul and my son Cameron, who will be 7 when we sail. This will be a combo-45th birthday/15th wedding anniversary celebration even tho it's a month after one and three months before the other but hey, I believe in stretching celebrations out for as long as is humanly possible.
