Happy Monday Everyone!

We are having a bit of a lazy day off here. Kids have no school and after doing 21K of running over the weekend, I am taking a day off. We are getting snow though and so I am feeling tired of winter...again!

Thinking about going to see "The Princess and the Frog" but Ben has a really bad cold so we will wait a bit before we decide.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I posted, but I have been trying to keep up! We are going to Florida for DS12's Spring Break to visit my older DS, who is a student at Florida State, so I booked a somewhat last minute 3 night for March 18-21. It will be a surprise for DS, well, it is it for now, hopefully I can remember not to say anything in front of him. We haven't done a 3 night before, and I have heard good and bad comments, but I am just happy to be on the boat and away from reality for a few days! It will be a nice Disney fix, until our Dream Cruises next year.

Hello all!!
It's a nice day here in southern California (80 degrees). I was hoping to do something today but DD Meagan has been sick all weekend with a sore throat, body aches, fever and a cough. The fever is gone, but she still has a sore throat and cough. Hopefully she will feel better for school tomorrow. Plus she has a job interview Wed. And we are suppose to go to a cabin up in the mountains of AZ for the weekend to play in the snow with all the kids and grandkids. Hopefully nobody else in my house will get sick.

I hope everyone had a great Valentines day, and is having a nice Mon!!

Mine never started, only a 2 day weekend for me, followed by a Monday of h e double hockey sticks at the office!

Ugh Candy--I am jealous of your beautiful weather. I would take a 40 degree day here frankly.

We had a good 3 day weekend here. Went ice skating today. Dh did a x-country ski race and we relaxed.

Erika--Hope tomorrow goes better at work.

We have a 2 hour delay too, but it's beautiful and sunny. Ours is for teachers workshops.

Have a great time! Will you be going to Tallahassee? My husband and I graduated from Florida State. So, Tallahassee and FSU hold great memories for us. We love it there.

LOL, it's actually going to be 30 today and tomorrow, and heck, even 25 and sunny here is wonderful!!!
Oh, just checked its 34!!!!!!!!! No wonder my car was sitting in a small lake in the parking lot!

Hey guys! I haven't chimed in recently but wanted to wish everyone a belated happy valentine's day. My kids finally went back to school today for the first time in over a week, though our street is still snow covered and we still have a huge snowpack of the 42 inches we got last week on the ground.

Today, we had the day off. Not due to snow but it did snow all day long today. Here's hoping for a delay tomorrow morning.. It would be nice to sleep in for one more day that is for sure......

Thanks! I am from Jacksonville originally, but we live in Houston now..lifelong FSU fan, so I drilled it into DS's head at an early age that he would someday go there! He is loving it so far, although he was sad when Bobby left, but he did get to see a few games at least.
We plan to spend a day there, as we haven't seen his dorm and all yet. DS12 wants to see the stadium...he is another future Nole, (I Hope).

Morning! Our local news just said this is our 72nd straight day with at least 5 inches of snow on the ground. I can tell you we probably have at least another 30-45 days with that amount too.
