Merry Christmas, Everyone!!!

It has been over a week since I've been on here. Hope everyone is well. We had an awesome long weekend at WDW last weekend and a faboulous Christmas. We are so thankful and blessed!!

We spent part of the day enjoying all the snow we got!

Emily measured and we have 15" of snow in our backyard!

Love the picture Jen! We had to change some plans due to the weather, but everything turned out ok. Don't remember a Christmas storm like this one. Our lovely neighbor plowed our driveway--we need to get a snowblower!

Kristin--Love the quilt! What a great idea!

We are going to try the waterpark of america (next to the mall of america--how original) tomorrow. I have heard some not so great things, but we have free passes so we are not giving up anything.

We are on to a happy new year everyone--then we will only be one year to go till 2011!

Survived another Christmas here! Only two return/exchanges were necessary and we took care of that last night after all the "crazies" left the stores!

As far as the weather goes..... last weekend the 2nd biggest snow totals here ever.... this weekend the temps are in the 50s and yesterday we got 2"+ of rain. Know what happened to our 24" of snow?!?! We do have a very lovely pond in our backyard now though!

Merry Christmas, 2 days late! Happy New Year 4 days early!

I've been soo busy running back and forth to NYC! The commute is nuts, but I love it! The job is going great!

Miss you all! I'll be lurking until life settles down (some time in June haha!)

We had a good Christmas - have a few returns to do with clothing. My youngest DD keeps growing and is now officially taller then her older sister (who is 3 years older.) Jess does not like things tight on her so a few shirts to return - no biggie.

Brianna came down with the stomach bug early this am. Not a fun way to spend her break.

Kristin, what a great idea for the quilt. you have the greatest ideas - why didn't I meet you before my kids go too old for all of this??!! Please post pics of your construction project - rather than watching HGTV, (yes, we're geeks. It's our fav station - sorry, Michele!) we can look at your pictures!!!

Jen, I left you a mesage on FB below all those terrific pictures. My kids were so jealous when they saw all the snow (hmmm..Mom and Dad - NOT!!!)

I have been MIA for the last few weeks - trying to get everything ready for the holidays. Whew. So much preparation and it seems like it flew by! But I loved having the weekend after the holiday to decompress and relax a bit!

Today, I was the ONLY one who had to get up and out - DH is a teacher and kids are on winter break so I left them all snoozing when I went to work amidst flurries.
What are everyone's plans for New years?? We're having some cousins drive up from VA for New Years Eve and will have a family get together on New year's Eve (the kids usually outlast the adults! ...getting old!!). Then we'll host the rest of the family on New year's Day...

Hi Jude,

I can't really take credit for the quilt idea it was Heather's idea and she found the women to make it for us. It turned out soo nice. I am thinking I need to have one made for each of the girls for the next cruise.

The girls had a b-day party today we all got to see the new Chipmunks Movie it was cute. They were all pumped up to see the movie with their friends. Soo cute..

I will post pictures of our construction once it gets started. We are meeting with the contractor on Sunday @ 11...So that should be good then we will see the plans and he should be able to start on the garage soon....................

For New Year's we are going right up the street to our friends house to hang out and let the kids stay up as late as they can make it. Should be FUN. This is the same family that we are going to Disney World with in April.

I was able to make my summer dining reservations this morning. I was sooo psyched since I was able to get Chef Mickey's for my nephews Birthday dinner.

Please, keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers we found out today she has to go for a biopsy of her thyroid, so it was sort-of a bad day with respect to that and all.

On a more positive not the family that we went to the Movie Birthday party today called tonight they are emailing Carol for a price for this cruise. They were like you all talk sooo much about the cruise we are thinking of joining you all....YEAH!!

We have been busy and still have so much to fit in on this week off. It is great to be a teacher and have the week off...it would be even better if DH or I got paid! In Minnesota, most teachers do not get a pay check for the week between Christmas and New Years...tough time to go without a week of pay.

Still, it is nice to be with family and friends so I will not complain. I have had the chance to talk with many of my friends and am excited to go see my mom later this week.

Jude - The kids had SO much fun in the snow. Paul did not have so much fun with the snow and the driveway! I love taking photos in the snow because they always turn out so great.

Kristin - Sounds like all your Disney plans are going great! I swear that you should have a job where you get paid to book people Disney vacation - you are such a great marketing tool for Disney! Is there anyone that you can't convince to cruise with you? I swore we were not going...then you called! We are thrilled to be going with you guys though!
