Any of you into pin-trading? My girls have recently gotten into it and I was thinking of getting them some pins to trade for our upcoming trip. Any advice as to where to get them some pins that they could trade in WDW?? TIA!!:goodvibes:)

No ideas about the pins but just wanted to say that I have started wearing a couple nicer type ones on my outfits...my students love them! I might have to get more into the pins.

I bet they do love them.Your such a good teacher.... When I taught fourth grade I had several Disney Lithographs hanging up in my classroom and the kids loved it.

I was just looking on ebay and found a few but was hoping to get some before we left...........

How is Emily feeling??

Em took a double dose of antibiotics this morning and actually is feeling a little bit better tonight! I am hoping that once she has been on the antibiotics for 24 hours we will see some real changes!

Are you finding any good pins on ebay?

I bought the kids beautiful Disney statues today at Macy's! They don't know about them...it will be a Christmas secret. :santa: Emily's is a Tinkerbell statue and Ben's is a Sorcerer Mickey!

I am so far behind in my Christmas shopping. Can't wait for Black Friday!!!

The tree sounds cute...bet the girls love it!

Kristin,

When Keith comes home from the Firehouse I will have him send you a note as to where he buys his pins.

Someone at work got me into Paperback swap. I cannot keep my oldest DD in books and am tired of spending the money. We never seem to return books on time so this has worked out great. Check out the site if you love books.

I love this idea! My DD also costs me a fortune with books! I call her the book eater...chomps right through them and wants another! I might have to sign up. It seems much cheaper to just have the shipping cost. Have the books been in decent condition? Has she found enough titles she wants to read?

Jen, I am so sorry to hear that Emily has been sick! Between Emily and Ben, I hope that the sickness stays with the kids (and that they both stay well from now on!) and doesn't migrate to you and Paul. But you must be exhausted!!
..still trying to vote. I am going to keep trying til I actually manage it!!!

Michele, I laughed out loud (again) at your turkey comments. I don't stuff my turkey - I cook the stuffing separately. Just don't forget to take the little bags of disgusting things out of the turkey before you cook it!!!! BTW, I cook it upside down too. The first year was a "by accident" and now it is a tradition. :rotfl2: Are you running the Turkey Trot in Troy on Thankgiving morning??? I usually do okay til the second time by the Ale House - which is right where my cousins set up a grill for their annual Thanksgiving morning tailgating party...!!!

Kristin - I am so dumb. I left my camera sitting on the front seat of my car and forgot to bring it into NYC with me!!! But we have such great memories from it - I don't thing we'll ever forget it.

Melissa - Hi!! My DH is a high school teacher too. He teaches computer and business courses. This is a second career for him and he loves it. Especially in the summer and on snow days!! :rolleyes1

Patty and Cigy - HI!!! Glad to meet more people!! Hmmm...Cigy, considering your Jeff Foxworthy comment to my neighbor Michele, should I send you the picture of the moose that was wandering through our neighborhood the other day?? OMG, it was BIG.

Janeanne, I am mentally sending you a huge glass of wine. I can't even imagine making that many gingerbread houses with that many kids. OMG, on second thought, you need an entire case of wine!!

...I wonder how many comments I missed while I was writing this?? :lmao:

Have a good night everyone!!
Jude

Jude,

I am not running the Turkey trot. But I would drink Ale at 8 o'clock in the morning!

I would love to see a picture of the moose wandering OUR county neighbor. That's cool. One night DH chased one with his pick-up truck. Now that's a good time in Rennselaer County!

We have recieve a book in great condition. I have mailed 5 books already and am waiting for another one. The shipping for a paperback is about 2.40. Still cheaper then spending 10-12 on each at barnes and noble. She did look for Eclipse and there were no copies but has found other things.

Jude - I will need that wine but not until I work with the older DD at the soup kitchen the same afternoon. And I am cooking on Thursday - oh well they are only young once.

Janeanne, depending on what you want the houses to look like I would recommend waiting until the houses are finished before you start on the wine!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
