We were just standing in the terminal waiting. Actually we just had one of those family "moments" so I was shocked when the woman walked over to us - I think I may have still had my "angry face" on :lmao:

That is soo cool!!!!!!!! What another GREAT Disney Memory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure yet..... we're going to HH for New Year's and then Vero next summer.... that's all that's planned for the time being. Tim started high school this year and that's really put a cramp in our vacation planning :rotfl2:

We may decided to add some time at WDW next summer... as for the cruise we usually like to do both a pre- and post- cruise stay, but haven't made any decisions about where yet.

Night Everyone!

I did get a chance to do a few more things to the website! I added a page with the ports and on the helpful information page I added links to information for the kids clubs & activities plus the restaurants.

I am done for the night but will work again a bit tomorrow!

Later,

Nassau never impressed us....

I've heard this numerous times.....can anyone explain why Nassau is boring? No sense to plan anything there if there's really nothing to do...

We did a 3 night cruise in 2008 and never got off the ship in Nassau, I'd read too much about getting hassled to buy stuff and nothing there appealed to us plus we wanted to take advantage of a quieter ship. The kids were in the kids club and DH & I spent some time adult pool and we all enjoyed our day

Hey guys, just wondering about the kids clubs and what the ages are for each. Just wondering if my girls will be together or apart. I think they would do better together seeing as this is our first one.....

DS will just be 14 and at the moment I'm planning on letting him into the 11-13 club with DD as I reckon he'd be more comfortable there, plus I've heard that the older teens don't really like the younger ones hanging around??

Has anyone had younger teens in the teenage kids club and can advise

Remind me the next time I sit down to catch up on the thread, bring the ENTIRE bottle of wine, not just a glass. Good Lord!:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1.....

LOL Michele, I'm glad I catch up with this thread in the morning so it's only coffee for me :surfweb:

....The MJ movie was decent. Was not sure what to expect. :confused3.....

DD & I saw it last week (we were due to see it at the AMC in Pleasure Island but she was floored with a virus we spent a few days in our room)

I wasn't sure what to expect but I quiet liked it!!

I love that name Once Upon a Dream!!!!!!!! That would be a nice cruise name!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I really like that name

We're planning on being down in Vero next summer, it's DH's favourite place and we always include it in our trips to Florida. We've got a 4 night Wonder sailing as well and we're staying at BLT before and after that cruise.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday, I'm taking DD and two of her friends to see a Christmas Carol and then they are coming back here for the afternoon.

Hi! My DS was 14 this past summer and he's kind of a "young" 14. And I was very nervous that he would "learn too much" in the company of older teens. But we didn't see any of that. He had an really great time at the Stack. In fact, he told us it was "the best vacation ever". LOL. Thanks to the DIS boards, he was able to email with several other kids his age before the cruise so he had an idea of how many other younger teens would be there. And the younger teens seemed to hang around by themselves and not with the older ones. They were a really nice group of kids. If he had not liked it, we were planning to ask if he could be moved down the the next level but that was never really an option. Why not give him a chance in the teen club and see how it works out. I don't mean to be preachy. You know your son the best. I just wanted to let you know that it worked out well for us!
Take care - off to mass!
Jude
