Okay I have a question for all of you. Can you recommend a good jewelry travel bag that holds a good amount of earrings?

I was told to be there no later than 10:45. They will load up everyone's luggage and then load passengers to leave at 11:00. I am guessing we will get to Avis around 10:30.

We still have the 1030-1100 arrival time, but since we are on the shuttle we will be arriving a little late.

Thanks for posting this Randy-- this is very helpful! I guess we'll be meeting you and Candy on the Avis shuttle Tuesday morning!

Kristin, we are praying for your mom!!

DH and I watched the webcam this morning and saw the Dream in all her beauty!! Sweet!

As we get closer to the trip, I have so many emotions: happy that we will be on our way soon having a great time, sad that we are leaving our pets, worried that everything will go okay and bummed that once it is over we won't have anything to look forward to for a while. (Coming back is always depressing!)

Maybe it isn't the dramamine I should be worried about! I should add a doctors appointment in the next 8 days so he can give me some Xanax!

I just got an email back from my weather obsessed FIL. I had emailed him asking his thoughts.

Good thing your not there this sat/sun as Emily will threaten that area. No no one knows this far out as a small thunderstorm cluster can become a depression,then a tropical storm, and even a hurricane.
I will keep an eye out for you, I can usually pick up stuff 4-7 days in advance.

By the way the odds for mid august, The Bahama's for a week, and a storm of 39mph or greater (tropical storm) is 17 to 21%. So unless your unlucky you are most likely good to go.

Ugh, tragedy!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, not really, but ugh anyway. I am ironing my stuff to pack, and found a stain in my khaki capris!! I don't really have any free time to go shopping (nor do I want to since I'm broke and don't care for the size I have to buy now LOL). Ok, sorry, back to the thread now, just had to share my disgust!!! LOL.

Obvious question here, but have you tried re-washing them? Maybe you can lighten the stain a bit. You can also try washing them and putting them outside in the sun to dry. The sun will aid in "bleaching" the fabric. Good luck!

Kinda reminds me of skinny dippin' with the duck!! I love that his little shorts have come off, I think I might have to have this one too. Thanks Jen for all the great new disigns that I haven't seen yet. The last time I really lurked in the disign thread was last year.

I will be posting more soon! I spoke with a designer who has a lot of great backgrounds and he gave me permission to take some of his and work with them.

RE: David Doss artwork and where to find

I have purchased mine at the Art of Animation store in Downtown Disney and also the Art store at Epcot. He usually is on property once a month with even more artwork than the "stock" ones-sand pails, lunch boxes, M&M at Poly, Grand Floridian, M&M snowmen to name a few. He also has some Epcot ones and seasonal prints. The DCL prints are exclusive to the ships so I'm hoping to get both of them this trip, especially the newer one that I posted a few pages back. I've had the sand pail one for a while, actually have two of them. The older one has MGM Studios on the pail and the newer one has been updated with Hollywood Studios

Does anyone have experience with the nursery hours. I booked my allotted 10 hrs. Are you usually able to get more hours at other times.

Janeanne.....shame on you....no more talking about bags of any sort! I will admit that I have nothing to recommend even though I am sure I have studied every page of the ebags website!

I had used a tide pen when I first noticed it, then washed them, and thought it came out. Discovered upon ironing they didn't. I soaked the stain in shout gel, and washed again. No luck!! I did find a couple things in my closet I can bring instead.

This is a total tragedy! I am sorry for you! Wash them some more with good stain stuff and see if it helps!

I am so worried about this. We are going to a wedding 2 days before we leave and need to wear a few of the things that should be packed and ready to go...I am terrified that someone will get a stain on something at the last minute!

Talk about asking a silly question ... well here goes: anyone from the NYC area know if it is better to be on the left or the right side of the Magic when it departs from the port and passes the Statue of Liberty? I'm mulling over Kristin's bright idea of an adult getaway weekend cruising out to nowhere for 2 days next June.

Quite obviously, I'm procrastinating again with filling those packing cubes!

Only 13 days until we will be at port together! We are so excited to finally be on vacation with you guys again!

Emily put a last letter with a treat in it in our mailbox! The girls should watch for one last letter before you go!!!

Well in one of my occasional posts, it looks like DS Mason 11 and I will be doing almost a back-to-back, but only because real life business interfered. All 3 of us will now be going this Sunday, August 7, but Lisa will probably not be with us August 16...(we traded in our Thanksgiving week cruise since we were outside the 75 days)...and it was too late to cancel or flip this cruise over to the 7th...(yes I know there may have been the possibility of a credit for future use, but that was uncertain...I spent too many hours on the phone today w/Disney).

So while we were fortunate, sort of, just remember that real life can mess up any plans at any time.

Anyone know or hear anything about taking the shuttle from the car rental agency with everyone in the party AND luggage? I was going to send DH to return the car & take the shuttle back to the ship on his own, but with all the new embarkation schtuff... Any thoughts? I'm looking at a town car service (if I can still get one), but it would be ~$115 more.
