We will be at CIS near Universal until the morning of the cruise so no pre-cruise meet for us.
Although a sore subject I did follow-up with
DCL on arrival times. My original plan was to show up around 1:00 pm when the terminal is cleared out, check in, and walk on the ship. The DCL rep said that is the way it is with the Wonder and Magic, but not the Dream.
DCL has been doing their best to "fine tune" the embarkation/disembarkation process for the Dream, but moving 4,000 vs. 2,800 is more difficult than perhaps they expected.
The port opening @ 11 AM is a result of DCL still working out the kinks with disembarkation. At 1:00 PM (our originally planned arrival time) the terminal is still busy so (as the DCL rep said) getting to the terminal @ 1 PM doesn't work as you would expect like it does for the Magic and Wonder.
That being said, we are getting to the port at 11 AM.
