Anyone who is running the 5K are you getting a t-shirt..My DH has decided to run the 5K....

Tell your DH that I am pretty sure we will be looking at the t-shirts....I would like to see if it comes in a tank top! Last time we ran on CC it was SO HOT!

I am excited he is going to run. Do you know how fast he plans on running it?

I am excited for our meal together in WDW with you guys and the Allards!!

We are really excited! Do we have reservations or should I be looking into this? Let me know so that I adjust the meals we have scheduled. I am double booked almost every day right now and have to take care of canceling some things.

That will be so fun when your kids find out they are going to spend time at WDW!

My kids are going to freak out! They love the Poly and are totally convinced that we are not going to WDW.

I am so happy that you will be done with school this week! You need the break and to be able to rest your foot.

Question about the packing cubes from those who use them. What size(s) do you like the most? Ebags is having a 20% off sale with free shipping (over $50) that ends tomorrow. I'm thinking slim and medium sizes. Not sure if I need the large ones, they seem too big but if you love them let me know. Sending DD14 to 2 week sleepaway camp, was wondering if these would be good for her too. They have shelves to keep their stuff on and it was suggested to use shoe size rubbermaid type boxes to keep like items together.

I have purchased three of the 3 set ones (comes with large, medium, & small). For my son, I use the medium ones and all of his clothes for the week usually fits in there. For DH & I we use the large ones. My clothes usually fits in one and I might use the small one for some personal items. My husband usually uses two of the large ones. I have found them to be so convenient (as I have said before) since all I have to do is take the cubes out of the suitcase and put them in the drawers.

I'm going to wish everyone a happy weekend a little early! We're headed down to DC for the weekend. We're meeting up with my mom, sis, and the rest of the family. Then, they are coming up here for the week. It's our first visitors since we moved here. We're so excited! We were the type to get together every weekend down in FL, so this move has definitely been hard on all of us. So, it will be nice to spend the week together.

We have just booked with Disney our excursion in Nassau :
NASSAU FORTS AND JUNKANOO DISCOVERY


It sounds like fun : we both are into local history & traditions and I love the idea of trying the traditional instruments of the junkanoo parade !!!
and also their beautiful "costumes" !!

Also Tripadvisor thinks good about this excursion :

I've posted this because ... maybe ... some other family could be interested into it too !!!

I was surprised that we could book only in the morning !! ( No bookings available in the afternoon !! )
We had thought that this excursion wasn't going to be very popular !!

We are happy though to go in the early morning ; that will give us more "exploring" time by ourselves ...
I surely need to go shopping in the famous (infamous ?!?) Straw Market !!! laura
