Found part three...:thumbsup2

You guys have been busy, 200+ posts already! Took me awhile to catch up.

I have to double-check with Kritter about the FE, I think we are on the list. I want to add a family that doesn't participate on the boards. I am actually kind of leary about explaining to them about the fanatics (like myself) that call themselves DISers :lmao:

We want to give them a Fish Extender from GradysMommy when we board as a surprise. They have two girls (7 & 2) so I expect they will get a kickout having a "stocking" hanging outside their door.

That's such a nice idea. I am sure the girls will love the idea.

We'll be at the Poly through Friday after the cruise.

HEY!! We're gonna be at the Poly until Friday -late afternoon too!
Still not sure where we're staying pre-cruise.
1 night - either Hyatt MCO or somewhere at WDW....waiting for the next code...

WDW meet : August 13 , SATURDAY , at the Poly , early afternoon !!!

RE WDW MEET
13 th is great for us -we have it down as a chill day - all we have that day is a 5.20 ADR for Ohana @ the poly:thumbsup2 An afternoon meet there would be fab.

The Poly on the 13th might be a good choice... we are doing the early seating the show that night....

also at the MK on the 14th - watching the fireworks is a good idea, too. I wish they still had the Wishes Dessert Party (they ended that I believe, right?) - I met up with an old college roommate and his family there a couple of years back and it was a cool place to sit, relax, catch up, and enjoy the show. Imagine the whole group taking over the terrace there!?! :)

coming into the Poly in early afternoon the 13th. My daughter wants to visit the Lego store at Downtown Disney. We were thinking of having dinner there and maybe seeing Cirque that first night. Current plan is for MK on the 14th and watching the fireworks from the Poly beach right outside our room.

Also Janeanne wanted to join in ; let's see what she thinks of !!

To me and Marco an afternoon meet at the Poly would be wonderful !!!

( but also watching the fireworks at MK :dance3: on the 14 looks GREAT !! MK is my favorite dream place !!!) ;) Could do BOTH !!!! :)

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Someone else joining in this mini DISmeet ??

Harry , will you let Jen know about our " meet -planning" ---> to add to the website ? Thank you !! :goodvibes

WOW !!! It looks like MANY DISmeets are being planned so far !!!!!

Vero Beach , CI&S at the port , Boardwalk , Univesal Studios , Poly ,
? fireworks at MK
... just to name some !!!
:rainbow:
Someone proposed a MEET AT THE PORT ? on embarkation day ?

Hi

I would love to participate in the cabin tour ( ok I'm a bit nosey):rotfl:but we have a cat 9b GTY and not sure what or where we'll be.

IS there anyone else who has a GTY room?

I wonder when we'll get our allocations  I must admit I check daily but realistically think it will be sometime in July;)

I emailed DCL today to ask what onboard credit we would have for this cruise as we are gold cc member who rebooked onboard.

I Just heard back and we have $150:cool1: So thats my Remy meal paid for (just need tips):cool1:

So is Gold booking tonight (midnight) or tomorrow night? When I log into my reservation it says "only 91 days until your cruise sets sail"

I thought Gold was booking tomorrow night, but based on the DCL website you would think that the 90 day mark would happen at midnight tonight.

Silly logic kicking in again :goodvibes

We had an GTY room and I checked online about a week ago and it finally moved from a GTY cabin to an actual cabin assignment...

Got an email reminder from DCL today for this :)

We'll be at the Poly through Friday after the cruise.

We'll be at Universal on the 14th and 15th. We're double booked at the Westin Imagine for both nights, and at the Royal Pacific on the 14th. We have reservations at the Residence Inn at the Port on the night of the 15th.

We've booked DCL insurance twice, including one time I added it at the last minute on purpose thinking we might need the "cancel for any reason" coverage that it essentially offers. (The DCL insurance has a clause where if you buy the insurance, file a claim, and it's denied by the insurance carrier, DCL will apply your uncovered losses toward a future cruise. Most insurers only offer "cancel for any reason" coverage if you buy it within 2-3 weeks of the original cruise payment.) It is cheaper, and you can get more coverage by buying private insurance. (The DCL insurance only covers what you pay to DCL, so if you buy your own tickets, or include other charges in your trip outside of the cruise, it's not covered.) We're USAA members and I've had the best service and lowest prices purchasing trip insurance through their relationship with Travel Insured. Even when I added the DCL insurance on our last trip, I had a private insurance policy to cover the rest of the trip (which involved a transatlantic flight and pre-cruise stay in Barcelona.)

As mentioned above, we'll be at Universal pre-cruise, and plan to move to the port the last night.

Maybe, we can schedule a meet after the cruise at WDW??!!:):thumbsup2
