I'm going on the August 16th cruise. So excited! Can't wait to finally sail on the Dream! This is my first post in this thread. I was wondering... What is everyone looking forward to the most for this cruise?

Hi all, just got back from the beach and all I can say is that I'm not going to hang out with ya'll because you guys are too danger prone!! I'm afraid the ship might sink if all of you get on at the same time! Seriously though, STOP HURTING YOURSELVES!!!!

Our TA just told me that she is working on making this cruise extra-special for all of us!!

Kristin, so glad to hear that your dad is doing better! Is the thing your TA is doing for everyone or just those that booked through her? Which TA did you use? I wonder if I used the same company?

I agree keep checking I did spend an hour and a half on hold with SW tonight!! But I know have a credit of $894.00 so we are going to plan a trip back down in Feb...Anyone, want to join us??

I'm thinking of going down for the Princess half marathon in Feb.

DD got her permit and tonight the whole family went on a ride with her as the driver! We went through the neighborhood and on a few other roads. Overall...she did great! Exciting and scary all at the same time!

Yikes!! I don't want to think about next year when my DD gets hers!

I also looked into 3 day park-passes and it would cost well over $1000 to get us into the parks That is just way to much ontop of the cruise and 5 nights at VB pre-cruise.

Have you checked out the YES program at Disney? I saved us alot of money on our tickets and the kids get to do a cool educational program.

Is Bruce okay? Is the vehicle damaged?

When I read this I thought you had said "Is the bagel ok" I guess I should slow down when I'm reading and trying to catch up!

Well, my fun times with my family came to an abrupt end on Wednesday when we were in a car accident. Thankfully, there 3 kids in the car and they were not hurt. Our car was considered a total loss which is a shame. I, on the other hand, seemed to have gotten all of the injuries. I broke my arm in several places. The bone came out in one section. I had to have it cleaned out and then will have to have surgery on it later this week. I told the surgeon we had to get all fixed up by the cruise.

I'm sorry to hear about your arm, at least the kids were not hurt! Hope the surgery went well.

I just got back from visiting my mil at the hospital - thankfully she made it through the operation and is now starting on the long road to recovery. Dave and I really appreciate all the prayers and messages of support. She is getting a little stronger each day and today they are trying to let her sip some water. Each day she is getting less tubes and they are able to remove them. Thank you so much, I am hopeful we can make our vacation - I would like to say thank you in person.

You all are BAD influences!!! I ordered packing cubes last night. This will put hubby over the edge (he'll bawk at the waste of money). I really don't think I need them, but I was sold on the pictures/testimonials. I also like the idea of keeping them zipped in the drawers (deter bed bugs, etc???). That's my thought & I'm sticking to it. BTW... don't tell hubby I ordered or how much they are, K?

I am so excited for us getting our packing cubes. Depending on how I like the toiletry organizer that my mom bought, I might get one for myself too!

I'm getting SO much more excited. We are paying off our final payment for our WDW portion of the trip this week and this weekend I'm getting out the Disney box and sorting through what we will and will not bring.

Due to our crazy schedule, I will need to have us mostly packed AND the kids ready for school (dd starts 5th grade the day after we return and ds the day after that...for KINDERGARTEN!) by the end of July...TWO weeks before we leave!

I don't know how I will get it all done...but I will!

We are getting ready to pay off the final part of our WDW bill as well. I will be so happy when that is done and then all I have to worry about is all the "extras".

We have the same school issues as you do. DH and I start school 3 days after we get back. The kids at least will not start until after Labor Day but I will have to have them ready because once DH and I start, nothing else gets done.

Ginny - Get the packing cubes now! Order tons of them and become organized like the rest of us! Seriously, I ordered 1 3-piece set for each of us in my family. Kristin says the small is really small though so I don't know.

The weather has been unusually hot the last two days , in the high 80's lovely but u have to remember it's not normally like this in uk and no one has any air conditioners

Welcome to the group! We are all so excited. I would say that since we were just looking at pictures of Disney cruise food the other day it might be all the wonderful food...especially desserts! Actually it is probably seeing all my dear friends who I will be cruising with!

I'm thinking of going down for the Princess half marathon in Feb.

You will LOVE the Princess 1/2 marathon! Jude and I had so much fun with that race this year. Next year I am doing the Tinkerbell 1/2 in Disneyland!!!

DD is doing well driving. It is day 4 of driving and we are all feeling a bit calmer.

Alright - off to the baseball game! DS is going to sing and it should be loads of fun!

Hi all! It's been way too long since I've posted here. Never enough hours in the day. So, I changed positions at my job to allow myself more "me" time, which, of course, will allow for more disboard time.

We're all getting very excited about this year's vacation!

We've finally decided what we're doing pre-cruise as we'll arrive in Florida on 8/13. We're going to stay in Cocoa Beach and just chill! Well.... it is Florida in August.....I don't know how much chilling we'll be doing.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys as I now have more time! YEAH!

It is getting really exciting that it is so close to the trip!



Emily LOVED talking to the girls! She said they are so easy to talk to because they just keep talking! I laughed because Emily NEVER talks on the phone. I can't even think of the last time I saw her talk on the phone because all she ever does is text. It is good for her to have a longer conversation so tell the girls to call again some time!

I will wait a few days to tell the girls to call they were all ready to call her again today!!

I've been thinking a lot recently about how we are going to pack w/ our trip chopped into tiny pieces.

I am pretty sure I have it figured out in a way that we don't have to load and unload ALL of the luggage every day! Almost all of it will be coming on the cruise w/ us and for WL but we won't need the big stuff all the other days.

I will have to do laundry on the ship though, I'm thinking the last day or so.

We have a reservation there already, but it is for 2 Garden view Inn Rooms, since they only sleep 4 and we are a 5 we need two rooms, the problem is they have adjoining rooms and not connecting rooms so DH and I have to divide ourselves up between the 2. We are hoping for a 1 bedroom so we are all together and have the washer/dryer right in the room. Since I will have to do laundry before we sail.

Good Luck I hope your waitlist comes through. Keep calling to check on it though!!

It's been a horrible roller coaster week full of up and downs.

It's funny after seeing her today I got a little excited and thought about our holiday- I then felt very guilty as it's still early days

How's life in Milan - have you finished all the exams- when is school out?
