We have really nice toiletry bags from LLBean that I love.

I only ordered a set of Mediums and a set of sm/med/lar combo. I thought the same thing about ordering more once they come in and I can check them out. My goal is to eventually have a color coded set for each of us, but thats 6 sets ($$$$$). OH, and I threw in this little bag since I thought it would be handy on the boat to carry wave phone, a diaper/wipes, etc.

Hello and Welcome to the group! I will try to answer your questions for you.

You can't send a PM until you have 10 posts. I am the one who does the website and if you want to send me your cruise information via e-mail, I will help you get set up. In the e-mail, please let me know: real names, stateroom number, dining rotation, if you are celebrating something on the cruise and where you are from. Once you do that, I will reply with the website information. jenbanderson@gmail.com is my e-mail.

The Fish Exchange (or FE) is where some people on the cruise exchange little gifts during the cruise. Unfortunately our FE is already closed because people have had to order / make their gifts and the lists of people participating has already gone out.

You are totally welcome to join in here on our thread, share news on the website, participate in any of the meets we will plan and so on!

But I'm weird. I seem to always overpack on makeup more than anything. I just never know what I'll want to wear, so I bring a lot. Overpacking on clothes isn't so much an issue for me

Hi Nancy!

We have a 5yo ds as well! I'm sure they will have a lot of fun on the cruise!

This is our first DCL cruise and we are all a teeny bit excited. In addition to ds, there is me, dh and dd (10yo).

Ds will be starting kindergarten just a couple days after we get home from our trip!

Alright - it is time to talk about one of my favorite things....clothing for the cruise!

1. Pirate night: Who is dressing up? Normally we go all out but this year I am thinking about something more casual pirate. Then I think that I will regret it! Share your plans for pirate night dress...are you going all out or have you decided to do casual pirate or do you skip dressing up all together?

2. Semi-Formal Night: I have said many times before how sad I am that there is no formal night. I think we will be going semi-formal but leaning towards formal. I want to look for floor length gowns for me and Emily but not big formal ones...again, long with a casual feel to them. I want DS and DH to be in nice clothes with a tie at least. Who has picked out their semi-formal outfits and what are you wearing?

3. Swim Cover-Up: Alright, after a couple of cruises I have finally learned that a swim cover-up is going to be a key piece of clothing. I am looking around but don't see a whole lot. I know I want something other then just a skirt wrap around thing. What do you do about hanging out in your swimwear? If you have a cover up, what does it look like and where did you find it?

Can't wait to hear what everyone is thinking! I love to dream about all the fun clothes I need to get for the cruise! For me, all the different outfits is part of the fun of the cruise!

Yes - I am here in Orlando, along with the heat, humidity, and heavy rain (just tonight).

It's a conference for Tim, so I am basically relegated to sitting around (which I really shouldn't complain about, eh?!).

Made it over to DTD this afternoon so I could pick up some gifts for the folks back home. Also, went over to OKW to see if they had any good DVC merchandise (they didn't) and had lunch there.

This whole thing cracks me up! I had totally expected my responses to be from the female group but I love how you jump right in!

I think DH wants to go casual pirate (leaving the pirate hair/wig at home). I would like to go all out with pirate costumes but know that means we would need to buy new ones as the kids have grown. We will have to see.

DS and DH both will miss the whole tux thing - they looked GREAT on our last cruise.

Guess I might need to re-word the swim wear question for all the boys who might read into it... Looking for ideas from the WOMEN on the cruise about what they wear over their swim wear while lounging around the decks.

Jen, here's what we plan on bringing...
1. Pirate night: We all have whole pirate get ups, but we might not bring them because we are flying and I am already nervous that we won't have enough room even without the extra gaaarb.
2. Semi-Formal Night: Just wearing a dress not my floor length one, guys will be in polos and khakis.
3. Swim Cover-Up: I have a really great little black dress that is cotton that I can just throw on over my suit, the best part is that it can double for a dinner dress if I need it to.
