Hello all!! Just wanted to pop in and say hi!! Been busy here. Niece is getting married and family is starting to arrive. I am so happy for her!

Kristin, I am so proud of Hanna!!!! Give her a big hug for me and tell I wish I could have seen her! I bet she was great!!

Jen, Great job on speaking!! I knew you would do well!!

I would like to do a meet at the port. We won't be arriving until the 15th because of the youth girl's camp I am in charge of the week before.

Love the idea of a cabin tour.

Found part three...

You guys have been busy, 200+ posts already! Took me awhile to catch up.

I have to double-check with Kritter about the FE, I think we are on the list. I want to add a family that doesn't participate on the boards. I am actually kind of leary about explaining to them about the fanatics (like myself) that call themselves DISers

We want to give them a Fish Extender from GradysMommy when we board as a surprise. They have two girls (7 & 2) so I expect they will get a kickout having a "stocking" hanging outside their door.

NYC has paid firefighters but all of Long Island has all volunteer firefighters.

Well, we paid off the rest of the cruise today and I booked a Palo brunch for our sea day... still trying to decide if we also want to do Palo for dinner.. most likely not.... spa day instead..

Has anyone else booked at the Comfort Suites for the Atlantis day? still debating on doing this....

Are you serious!!!!!!!!!! I read there is no brunch in the Dream, we had pay off the cruise looooooong go, Im going in to do my reservation HA!

Hey DH wants to know if your DH wants to exchange shirt or patch from his station with the one from his, we always take a couple patches for the other ff in the ship!

I just wanted to let you all know that we will not be sailing on this trip. We will be going on the Member Cruise in September and are buying a vacation house 15 minutes from Disney so we decided to pass on this awesome trip

I hope to sail with you all again another cruise

If anyone is interested I have a decent cabin. It's 5166. I am on hold now to cancel the trip so if anyone wants to move call today and try

Hi all, only have a quick second to post. We are in St. Louis, drove 12 hours yesterday for a choir competition this morning. Tomorrow morning we leave to drive 12 hours back. Can you say exhausted? Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!

Oh, and did I mention I broke my toe at 6 am this morning in our hotel room? Makes for tough touring LOL!

Not sure if anyones has been following this, but James Tate can go to the prom! He's the kid from Shelton CT (next town over from me) who was banned after taping an invitation to his friend asking to go with him to the school's exterior wall. It's gotten a lot of attention and I didn't think the principal would back down, but the 11 pm news just announced that he can go. Yeah James! I can't believe all the press and attention this has gotten.

Erika, Be careful driving home you must be exhausted. Oh now, I hope your toe is better. YOu and Hanna both had injuries in the last 24-hours. Yesterday, at the communion party Hanna was running and we thought she broke her ankle we spent the later portion of the afternoon in the walk-in she is fine though!!

Our plans are semi-flexible around 8/13-15. On 8/13 we are doing the Spirit of Aloha show, but are flexible during most of the day; 8/14 - we will at the MK - dinner at Tony's, but we we looking to escape the park park mid-day for lunch or something; and 8/15 - are plans have us tentatively hanging at the pool at BLT and boating on Bay Lake - pretty flexible that day.

Hi - we will be there starting the 12th at OKW - let's us know what you plan and we will try to meet up as well.

Busy weekend!

When I was significantly younger (20+yrs ago), I marched in the cymbal line of the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps. It was actually where my dh and I met..he played tenors.

Friday night I went to the 3rd annual cymbal line alumni night. It was an opportunity to have the current members in the line (all who were born way after I started marching) meet us old folks, hear stories and feel more connected to the history behind what they are doing.

The get together was in close to 2hrs away in Atlantic City so I managed to drive there and back in one evening!

Yesterday was a busy family day, running errands, shopping, haircuts....then I was off again to an alumni fundraiser for the corps. It was great to see old friends and spend time w/ those we don't see all that often.

Today we have a family graduation party. It is getting more and more difficult to rest on the weekends!

A WDW Meet sounds like fun, but we are going to Universal before the cruise and staying at VWL for three days after. We find the best way to get over the disappointment of leaving the ship is to go to WDW.
