Jen- good luck with your ipad rollout! There is a city here in Maine that is rolling out ipads for kindergarteners next fall.

Things are good here! Today was a nice day in Maine, about 63 degrees. Trying to be really good about exercising, speaking of I'd better answer my elliptical's call, 'cuz she keeps calling!!

Wow-- in only 6 days all you platinums get to book Palo, etc! I can't believe how close its getting!

So much going on... one of my co-instructors is out for the rest of the semester, so we are all scrambling to pick up his workload. My parents are coming to visit for Easter; we set a closing date on the condo for next Tuesday! Oh, and I still haven't finished my taxes... (but it looks like I may get a refund--yeah!)

I just have to stop obsessing over our Disney plans... trying to move our cabins around and desperately hoping to get off the waitlist at Vero Beach for a 1 or 2 bedroom! Wishing and hoping for some pixie dust there! We did put our deposit down for Alaska 2012--so something to plan for next!

I hope everyone stays or gets healthy-- now that spring is here, there's so much to do!

How long have you been on the waitlist for Vero? Were you planning to do VB before or after the cruise?? We are headed there before the cruise!!

Thank you! I'm taking a short DIS break right now. It's a crazy week because all my professors wanted to get as much in before spring break as they could. Two tests, a project, plus homework due this week. Only three more days until spring break, at least!

We booked the June 15th two nighter. Then the June 30th Fantasy. Was the8/25 any better priced? We do not start school until after Labor Day soif that one was a good price we might think of that one instead of what we have already booked!!

When we booked the 8/25 was the best price out of all of the summer cruises.

Luckily one of the tests was on Monday and I finished the project, so I only have one test and homework left. By tomorrow night, I should be done with all the work and my other test, and I'll just have to get through my classes for the rest of the week!

I don't have any plans for spring break other than to sleep and relax!

Thank you! I'm a math major, but more on the side of statistics, with a business minor. Not sure what I want to do when I graduate yet, but I do know a lot of things I don't want to do when I graduate.

As someone said THIS GROUP IS REALLY AMAZING !!!

We have less than three weeks before we leave on our cruise! I am getting so excited about it!! Looking forward to our stop in Bermuda!!

Please post some photos when you get home !! It will be a wonderful cruise !!!! We have never been to Bermuda , so I'm SO CURIOUS about what you'll do / see overthere !!!!!

Well I've still got quite a bit of sorting out and planning to do for this trip.

Hopefully by this weekend we will have sorted out and filled in our ESTA - I always worry about this in case the USA say we can't visit Mickey

I also need to sort out our insurance. I'd like this organised before Easter.

Oh, I guess we are done with our insurance , but I'll double check it with Marco !!
We already have our ESTA filled from past year ; I think we just need to CHANGE OUR ADDRESSES in the USA this Summer .
but I surely know what you mean : I'm always afraid that it might come up with :entrance denied !!!!!!!!!!

In February a friend of ours from Scotland (headed to Boston with some colleagues ) had to stay with the Immigration people for about 8 hours , answering all kind of questions ... As it turned out , SHE has the same name as someone who had not paid taxes for a long time ... Actually they were very kind and let her go at the end with many excuses , but she truly had a quite hard time there !!!!

Easter is going to be pretty mellow for us. No small children to enjoy it with. And I will probably be trying to catch my breath from the crazy few days leading up to Easter. We are leaving the Thursday before to head to Vegas, then spending a couple of days with family for a memorial service, then driving home early Saturday so I can help get my house ready and decorate a cake for my niece's bridal shower at my house later that day. I am going to be so exhausted Sat. night.

WOW !!! A bridal shower !!! I've read about it ONLY in magazines which I usually buy at the airport ... to help me through our usually long wait . What does the bride do exactly ? We do not have this "thing" in Italy ...

... there is a bright side. I put a deposit on the May 25, 2012 Magic cruise out of NYC! Now I have two trips to look forward to.

That is MAGICAL !!!! Your GRADUATION cruise !!!
How happy a circumstance !!!! By then you'll surely deserve a big celebration !!!!!!!!!!!!!

just have to get through today and an overnight shift tomorrow before my vacation starts. We are flying out of here Friday afternoon and staying at Hyatt MCO before heading to PC on Saturday.

totally gonna wing Key West, no firm plans

have this 'pirate encounter' thing on Grand Cayman until noon or so, then maybe Margaritaville for lunch? wondering about taking a taxi to beach ?? suggestions??

for cozumel we are doing the dolphinaris thing which runs 10-1. Then what should we do, have time for?? a beach??

We bypassed the DCL Grand Cayman excursions on our last trip and took a taxi to the beach - saved a few bucks and got to come and go on our schedule. Ask for the driver's card when he drops you off and/or arrange a schedule for him to pick you up - worked out great for us. The fares are pre-set as well so no haggling

WOW !! have a wonderful time !!!

In Key West we once rented a mini-car - something like a covered scooter with 4/5 seats to get around !! Very fun ; I guess you can fit in 2 adults and 3 kids . Traffic is nice and slow , you don't have to walk in the hot sun ... we drove to the Southern most point of the US and stopped where we wanted ... I guess it was the Scooter rental in Front street.

In Grand Cayman ... I don't know what to suggest ; DGH had his videocamera no more working that day ... so we spent the whole day searching for a related shop ... without any luck !!!
( To DGH his videocamera is something like the Ferrari for you !!).

The Dolphinaris will be terrific for your kids !!!!
I surely would avoid Playa del Carmen ,on the mainland , badly touritsty IMHO ... I'll stay on the island ( as you don't have much time ) , maybe Playa del sol or Playa Palancar. I recall that the East coast was rather dangerous
unless you are a strong swimmer ...
Of course you already know this ... but DO NOT DRINK anything but commercial bottled drinks , opened in front of you.

Hope you'll post some photos when you get back ... very envious here !!!

When will we get an idea of our FE list of participants? I know we are aiming it at keeping it at 25 families or less. But I was hoping at getting an idea of the number of kids participating. Katerina is very excited about it and we've been working on some ideas for the kids but are hoping to get an idea of how many kids we will be gettting.

Just booked the two day cruise out of NYC and a cruise for next summer on the Fantasy!!

Love that you booked both the cruises! If I lived near NYC, I would be tempted to do a 2 day cruise as well! Lots of fun times to look forward to!

What does everyone have planned for Easter??

We will be going to DH's parent's house. I think it will just be for Saturday/Sunday because I have been working so much that I just want some time at home.

Any idea where you will stay pre-cruise?? We have a few of us stayingat the Residence Inn, come join us!!

I am really feeling run down right now and know I just have to get through this week and next week and then hopefully things will slow down at work.

Sounds like you have a lot going on as well! Good luck with all your school stuff. I don't miss the days of studying and homework. I think it is great that you have 2 trips to dream about while you are having to do so much work....it is always good to have things to look forward to!
