NOT SO GOOD NEWS from me : I was on a field trip in Turin with my older pupils ... had a bad fall ... emergency room ... now I have my right leg in a cast ...cannot go to work for some days ...

I feel so stupid ... if I just were paying more attention while walking on that sidewalk .........

Oh, don't blame the sidewalk!!

Well , as far as I can understand ( no doctor here !!) ,
the "side" ligaments of tarsus and shinbone are "nearly" (?) broken , I cannot walk nor "use" the right foot for the next week . The doctors say that , after the next control , I COULD be allowed to walk a bit with a "mobile" cast ....... (? ankle boot ? ). Prognosis : 40 days !!!!!
Does this make any sense ?

Happy weekend everyone! It is a cloudy day here in So. MD. Can't wait for the sun to come out. We do not have too much planned this weekend. We are visiting DH's grandmother. She is flying out tomorrow to meet DH's mother so they can began their 3-week Asian adventure cruise. I have labeled it an adventure cruise because when they cruise it is always an adventure. DH's mother likes planning her own excursions and believe me they have been on some adventures.

makes sense ... at least the cruise is still 129 days away

The good thing being that ... DGH brought home a delicious / ready to eat / dinner and a new hand-made icecream from a nearby artisan GELATERIA : MARACUJA' !!! Sweet tropical flavor , I can pretend I am on the Dream in the Caribbean sea !!!
