Thanks for all the compliments on the picts. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the "big" camera, so many buttons to adjust. I love spring, the flowers and the nicer weather and all. I too would like to see the lanyards in the original color or the lime green.

We are in Boston, MA

They said the city would get about 2 inches
That's exactly what we got-- woke up to 2 inches of slushy yuck and a fine pelting of slush coming out of the sky. bleh.

I just keep thinking back to the beautiful blue skies and sun we had in FL 2 weeks ago... looking at the recent weather reports there, it couldn't have been more perfect! *sigh*

Hi Everyone.

We had snow this am but did not really stick. Girls were happy not to have another snow day. :woohoo:

I am getting the sense that the yellow color is the favorite. No problem here.

Laura I am jealous - 70 degrees! I am actually happy we are getting up to 50 degrees this weekend!:yay:

Wine tasting tonight - great way to end the week!

:tinker: Janeanne

HOPE EVERYONE CAN HAVE A FUN / RELAXING WEEKEND !!! laura :flower3:

Hi Everyone,

Scanned the thread and saw a cute little doggie, someone having to leave their apartment, a slow computer and 2 other things breaking down in the same house, as well as some beautiful pix from the Dream.

I also saw the lanyards... great job!! I like yellow and I also love love the suggestion of lime green. I think we had lime green rubber bracelets on the Disney Cruise last year or the year before and we were all able to spot each other very quickly.

Amanda, just to add my two cents... I like going to Disney before the cruise, although I have gotten to the point of going to Disney before and after the cruise. If I had to pick I guess I prefer to go before and to throw all my clothes in my luggage at the end of the cruise and not see them until I get home.

It seems like every time I check in here another 30 pages have been added. lol

Our cruise will be here before we know it!!!!!

Dawn

Good that we ducked the nor'easter this time around - nothing stuck past morning.

gotta work 24 hrs on sunday so, this weekend basically sucks

wife had her second surgery yesterday and is VERY sore ...

OK Let me be the first one who says I like the yellow ones better BUT listen to my reasoning first.

All us DCL past guests will be getting the red lanyard upon check in so the only reason I would vote for yellow first is so we stand out otherwise from a few feet away you really wouldn't know it was a fellow Diser.

But I'll go with either design, above is the only reason I would prefer the yellow or even the lime green DIS color.

Ooooh, lime green is my favorite color!!

Totally grey here, and drizzly, and still a 10 foot pile of snow at the end of my yard, as well as still some in the yard. Yuck yuck yuck!!!

Count me in for the yellow or lime green!

Awww, Hope she feels better soon, please tell her that her DIS friends are wishing her will.

I'm starting to get excited about this cruise coming up! I think it's because work has been nuts, I've been traveling 4 days a week for work since January, and I'm really looking forward to a vacation!! Oh, and can I mention that a year from now we will be on the MV of the Fantasy?? Talk about a price increase. We booked a verandah for the MV in mid-January for just under $6k, and the price is now over $9k for the cheapest verandah. Even an oceanview room (8A or 8B) is over $2k more than what we booked our verandah room for less than 3 months ago.

Hope your wife's recovery goes well. Sorry about having to work the weekend. Hope it's not too bad.

To be honest , :confused3 I would like a FE group with no more than 20 cabins ;

This has been part of our reluctance to join the FE group this time around - concerns about the potential group size.

The parks might be a little quieter the week when we return with kids back in school. Exception may be if there is free dining offer.

There was a free dining offer for the period after our cruise - we'd originally booked a post-cruise WDW stay using it. Then we got a PIN code offer which saved us more money than the free dining so we switched offers. We'd originally wanted to do the part pre-cruise, but found the prices lower, the offers better, and the crowd level predictions lower after the cruise due to the "season" change at 8/15. So now we're going to Universal pre-cruise, and WDW post cruise.

The FE groups will contain no more than 25 families. We are going to try to keep it around 20 but we promise it will be no larger than 25!!

The girls were in our schools Talen Show...A friend taped it on her Iphone. Here it is::

I have not uploaded my pictures and video of it yet!!

So, you may remember a while ago I found out our landlord was selling the condo we were renting... well, we've decided to bite the bullet and buy it! If all continues to go as planned, we'll be closing in the next week or so! :woohoo:
The plan is that this won't cut too much into our cruise budget... :scared1:
However, it has definitely cut into my cruise-planning time! I haven't even begun to think about FEs yet!
