[MICKEY'S DREAMERS]

My friend (a first timer) was taking pics of a fountain, so Alexa and her friend leaned over the rail to look into the water. I was digging through my bag for something when I hear a mail voice right next to my daughter say "isn't it beautiful", very dramatic. I am thinking, who is this creep and why is he hitting on my 15 year old!!! I look up, and almost die, it was Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid. He just came up and leaned on the rail and started a conversation with my daughter. It was unreal!!! I was so excited, I could hardly get my camera out of my bag. And he was so cute!!!!!

That was our best character meeting ever!

Hi all, been out of touch, as usual!!

Welcome to any newcomers I may have missed.

Wow, the snow days you all get, I can't even imagine. Here we get snowstorm upon snowstorm and no one blinks. It just takes us 2 hours to drive home. But at least we don't have snow days to make up.

We just got back on Wed from our trip, we had an amazing time! The weather was just unreal, warmer than average and sunny every day! And I have to tell my cute story.

Welcome back Erika!! Glad you had a a wonderful time and great weather too!! I love that story!!! I'm glad you you told us that story. When I looked at your pictures on FB, I was wondering how you got him to look out over the water with Alexa like that! I love it!!

Nothing special here ; I've developed sort of bronchitis , so I just plan on staying indoor , rest and stay warm ...
possibly talking with DGH about the flight NYC-Orlando - which we still need to book for BEFORE THE CRUISE !!

It was warm and sunny every day!!! It was really hard to come home to single digits with subzero windchills. So tired of looking at snow! We have had snow on the ground for almost 3 full months, blech!

I don't know if this was posted already. from Deb Wills aboard the Disney Dream: There is a new minimum height requirement for single riders on the AquaDuck -- if riding solo, you must be at least 54 inches tall. Also, it's worth noting that the cabin doors for concierge staterooms are not magnetic.

Erika, love your prince Eric story and love all of the pictures. Your soo right the weather is perfect. I dread going back home!!

Tomorrow, is the BIG day I can't believe I put the kids to bed and told them they needed lots of extra rest tomorrow we have another HUGE SURPRISE for them. They think we are going to eat in a park with characters....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


They did not even know tonight my dad and Bruce snuck out to get the car rental. We are going to be arriving at the port tomorrow around ten am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I promise lots of pictures and videos if I can figure out to upload them to the Disboards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh I am soo tired tonight but not sure I will be able to sleep I am soo excited to see the DREAM TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm usually on here late - it's the only quiet time I have around here! I am also usually up early on Saturday as well, but often on a rush somewhere. Today it was off to a swim meet @ 7AM.

Do you know the reason for the height requirement change?! 54" - that's big time roller coaster minimum heights!!??

Tell me about it. On our last trip he met a girl at Castaway Cay and played with her both days. He also met a DIS friend's granddaughter and they hit it off. After the picture below was taken he escorted her (by putting his hand on her back) into the gift shop to show her the toys he liked. Too cute.

What a cute pic! He's a cutie! My son has always had more girl friends than boys! He's 10 (well, in 10 days!!!) and he still has mostly girls as friends!

What a good feeling to be able to pay off the cruise and travel. Hopefully, you will be getting some rest soon.

The forecast here is for a wintry mix on Tuesday into Wednesday but, it changes every night so we will see.

I'm going off topic and looking for opinions for an April vacation. Our friends have timeshare at Atlantis in February but this year it falls the week before our break and we don't want to take the kids out of school. She's been trying to book Atlantis for April but since it's Easter week it's not happening and airfare is crazy expensive.

So, Myrtle Beach is an option that we can drive to. We've never been there before. Is it warm enough in mid-April to be at the beach? Any suggestion for things to do in the area for those who live near there or have visited?

Gina, I live about an hour from MB. It's hard to tell about the weather. We've had some crazy, cold weather this year. We've even had snow, which is very unusual for us! So, it might be warm enough to go to the beach, I think the water will be too cold to swim. There is minature golf, Ripley's aquarium (At Broadway at the Beach), shopping (outlet malls), so there is stuff to do. We like to ride down there for the day and shop, eat, etc. there are other things to do at Broadway too. Last time we were there I saw they had added a zipline and a rope maze thing. It looked fun, but we didn't get to try it. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I loved the videos -I liked the cabanas one with the sushi mmmmmm and the suites look amazing. I just need to win the lottery LOL

Dogs are fine - well Bella had an accident and cut her paw - it was deep and she needed stitches -she looks very sorry for herself - but she is still running around like a maniac!. We get Caleb on 5th March so a little way to go - thank you for asking x I will post Pictures then x
