10K on turkey day. Since we'll be in SC I have my fingers crossed for some decent temps. The course is entirely flat as well so it should be a good day for my knees!! :rotfl:

Sounds fun and a 10K is a nice distance. :goodvibes

I am a bit worried about the temperature and the road conditions for our New Year's Day race but it should still be fun.

Not sure why I decided to look, but it would cost us almost $1500 more right now, to get the same rooms on our cruise! Nuts!

Hello Everyone!

Okay - I am so far behind and I promise that I am going to attempt to get all caught up and keep up! A VERY long story made VERY short...it has been a tough fall, no job but I am working at subbing (and tutoring and selling preschool curriculum that I write and so many other things I have to do now to be able to afford Disney). Basically, I have felt so mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted that I have avoided the boards for a while. The good news....I am back because I know we will figure out how to afford the cruise (it is a good thing I have already paid a big chunk of it) because after this year....I need the cruise! :upsidedow

Kristin - Thought of you today. I hope the girls got their Halloween card and loved it! :goodvibes

Minniemouse07 - OMG! Love your pumpkin! You are so creative! :thumbsup2

elgerber - It is so cool that you can pick out your room! I love all the pictures that are now out of the Dream...it makes it feel so much more real! :woohoo:

MrsJobba1 - Bella is so cute! Thanks for sharing.

Alright, I have so much to go through to catch up. I will be working on the website this week and hope to do a totally new upload by the weekend. I know that I have to update so many things.

Great to see you back:thumbsup2

Hey everyone! Im new to the forum and have never been on a DISNEY cruise before. But me and my DH are gonna be on this one for our anniversary and are sooo excited!:cloud9: Any suggestions for excursions and what not?

:welcome:

Glad to have you aboard.

Castaway Key has an adults only section you might be interested in. Not sure about Nasau but we are not planning to do much there.

Be sure to send Jen Anderson a note so she can add you to our cruise website. There is also a list of Fish Extender participants and a link on her site explaining what it is.

:welcome: First, come back often so we can get to know you. When on the cruise, definitely take time to explore and enjoy the ship. There is so much offered, you will not be able to do everything but you will find something for you. I really do not do excursions. I enjoy relaxing on Castaway Cay. I do want to go parsailing one day. Maybe this cruise I will actually get up the nerve to do it. :confused3

DH dvred it for me this morning. Then, I saw it on the website when I was entering the contest, of course.

Interesting contest  One night @ WDW?! Two nights on the Dream?! Has the "economy" impacted the wide world of contests, too?! :rotfl:

I assume that the 2 night cruise is a test/dry-run kinda event??
