I've been entering the AOL Dream Cruise contest every day (and entered my first GMA entry this morning).

In the AOL contest, you can also answer a trivia question about the Dream to be entered to win smaller prizes and I WON one!! :cool1:

I am now the proud owner of a Dream tote bag! :woohoo:

It came yesterday in the mail. I'll have to take a picture and post it so you all can see. It is really big! A lovely shade of blue w/ some outside pockets.

You all will be able to tell who I am during the cruise now since I'll be the one walking ON the ship w/ the cool tote bag! ;)

Here is a tiny picture from the website...I'll take one later...

congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! Im new to the forum and have never been on a DISNEY cruise before. But me and my DH are gonna be on this one for our anniversary and are sooo excited!:cloud9: Any suggestions for excursions and what not?

Welcome Aboard! You will love the cruise! Just keep dropping in here and you will learn all you need to know about cruising with Disney! :goodvibes

Did anyone see the Dream on Good Morning America this morning? In case you missed it click here.

Thanks for sharing - it was so fun to watch! It makes me so excited. :woohoo:

Interesting contest  One night @ WDW?! Two nights on the Dream?! Has the "economy" impacted the wide world of contests, too?! :rotfl:

I assume that the 2 night cruise is a test/dry-run kinda event??

:rotfl: I understand it being a test run sort of deal but you would think that the contest prize could be a bit bigger.

Cool! Way to go!

We are having a busy sort of weekend as usual. Dance, cleaning, shopping, getting the Christmas lights put on the house (we have to do this before it gets too cold) and more!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.
Jen

I'd like to thank whoever is in charge of daylight savings time for giving me an extra hour last night (though I know you'll be back to claim in the spring!). Problem is that I have to be up at 6AM to take Tim to a swim meet out in PA :sad2:

Anyone else putting that extra hour to good use?! :rotfl:

we booked today for the 7 day "AllEars Disney Fantasy Group Cruise" on May 19-26 2012. MouseFanTravel is handling the booking arrangements if anyone is interested.

It is so gross....but, I know that it is happening all over. :confused3 It would be unrealistic to think that it doesn't happen at Disney. I just know that I will be checking my room CAREFULLY before settling in.

DH and I got up and went for a run before church. It was so nice to be able to sleep in and get up and run. :goodvibes

That sounds like a great trip for you! :thumbsup2

It is so fun to see all the videos and photos that are being released. I would just like it if Disney would start releasing more details about our trip . . . like themes, dining menus, etc. I know it will come soon but I am so impatient!

Congrats on winning the bag, I have been entering almost every day but I haven't won anything. I was wondering what the prizes are.

Here is our stateroom

jealous... you can't see ours... it is on the inside..:lmao:

Can't see ours either! :rotfl2: I keep going back and forth....excited that we have 2 rooms (inside ones) but then worried that I am going to miss the verandah. For the little bit that we really used the verandah, I am hoping that it is a good trade off. :goodvibes

Hi All.

I feel so bad for those on the Carnival Cruise line. We were on a cruise once were we lost two out of the four engines. The worst to us is we were late docking and disembarking. It was scary when all the lights went out but that only lasted about an hour. I cannot imagine what these people had to endure. :sad2::sad1:

Not that this can hardly compare to what happened with Carnival, but I found it interesting.... Magic Stranded

Like the airlifted Spam?!

:rotfl2: Our family has laughed over this so many times! I keep thinking we should not be laughing though...I would hate for it to be me! :scared1:

We had friends on this cruise. They said it was still a great cruise and that Disney handled it all beautifully. The worse thing for them was that they had to rent a car to drive from FL back to MN....through a few snow storms.

I've been living vicariously through one of my coworkers this week as she messages me from WDW. I helped her plan their trip, which she appreciated!

Yesterday, I got a call from her in DTD. She asked if she had reached the WDW Info Desk! :lmao:

Things are moving along w/ us. Ds turns 5yo in a few weeks and I managed to sell a day at HersheyPark over having a birthday party to him. It will be chilly, but it is all decked out for Christmas so it is fun. :santa:

I'm having fun checking out the little video snippets that keep getting released on AOL's travel site about the Dream. Have to get my fix somehow until it is time to start planning park days and figuring out ADRs in time for the 180 day mark!

I just got our room assignment for our NYE cruise and we got an upgrade to a Cat.9 Delux Oceanview! I'm so excited, I've never gotten an upgrade on any of the cruises we've been on, so yea us! Just thought I'd share my little bit of excitement for the day.
