I can't help you on the spa question, but I might be able to help with the Target question. If you go to the pre-cruise meet, you'll get off at the Lansdowne Canada Line stop, which is right next door to Lansdowne Centre. Lansdowne Centre has a store called Zellers, which is very similar to Target. There may also be another, similar store which is closer to downtown, but I don't know what it is or where it is.

Thanks for the suggestion. It looks like there is a Zellers store in the Oakridge Centre, which is closer to downtown on the SkyTrain system. I would love to go to the pre-cruise meet ... but might have a family obligation.

Perfect--the Zellers stores are great. We usually stay by Lansdowne Centre, so we always hit it first thing when we get to Richmond. No problem about the pre-cruise meet--it's only if you want to and are able to go.

When I was down there the Wonder pulled out about 4:15 pm local time (pacific). Not sure what times you would be able to seen on the web cams, hope this helps you.

Thanks for the info. That would be 7:15 our time. It always seems that we leave around 6 on a Tuesday, and get home around 8. Maybe next week!

BTW forgot, FE are done!!! Did them this past Saturday. Also, most FE gifts are done and sorted. Just need to finish one more thing for all the kids (maybe the adults too) and finish up stuff for the very little ones! Then I just have the "family" gift which should take another 2 weeks. It will be worth it, though.

Ooh, it's Song of the South. Disney is afraid some people will find it racist, so they won't release it.

My guess is "Song of the South", because it involves the memoirs of a slaveholder's son, and the stories told by a slave. However, it's a guess.

Song of the South did win best song for Zippadee Doo Dah. When we took my kids to DW in 2007, I realized my 5 yo DD had no idea about it and so Splash Mt didn't mean much to her. At that time I looked into buying Uncle Remus' Tales, but the only one on Amazon was a $40 hardback which I passed on. Yes, SoS is racially charged, but so is Dumbo! I kinda think it's a shame Gen Xers are the last to know this story, since stories _are_ our history.

Well I think I've finally figured out what I'm doing for the FE gifts Hoping that the execution of the plan goes as I have it in my mind! I've sent a pm to a few of you in the Mickey group requesting some additional info--just in case you aren't accustomed to looking at your messages

Can't believe there are only 40 days until we sail, and even fewer until we get to explore Vancouver! It is really starting to feel real...I am in the process of pre-paying our tips, figuring out if I'm going to request a specific dining rotation/set of servers (we are first seating for dinner), starting to check and double check my packing list, etc, etc--I'm just generally getting really excited!

Looking forward to putting some faces with names at the embarkation day meet-up! Are those of you with middle-school age (and older) kids planning to come to that meet-up? My kids are hoping to meet some similar-aged kids early on, so they have someone to hang out with during the week.
