August 13, 2010 - I WONDER Where All Our Cruisers Are?

Don't know if this was already posted or not, but where are we all meeting the first day?

I have relatives from California staying with me until we leave for our cruises and we are doing the whole sightseeing in Manhattan thing. I am finding I have no time to get on and see what is happening on the boards.

We are also having a hard time keeping up with the info on 6 back to back cruises. lol

I wish all my hard times were this fun!!

We never did set up a board meet. I'm always really bad about making it to them between eating, unpacking, the castoff party, getting the kids into the clubs, early dinner... blah blah blah. But if anyone has any ideas on a good time and place, we will try to make it.

I know the "promenade lounge" is a good spot to meet. Anyone want to call a time on it?

Hi, Are we talking the first night of the cruise? The entire families or just the main dis-er? Ive NEVER done this before so you tell me when and where and ill be there~~ maybe someone will be around to take our picture...thanks!!

I got the PM. Whatever time you guys decide its' fine. I know we have main seating time for dinner. Since we're driving I plan to get to the port so we can be settled before the rush comes. Depending on when everyone gets down there, we can possibly meet before the sail way, which is at 4pm, or at the party before dinner?

We are driving also, but will be in a hotel nearby the night before so we will get up and head right to the port so hopefully we will get on asap~~ just keep posting what we are doing and ill try my best to be there. We have

YAH almost time Dissers!!! I finished my FE's today~~ so now im tryin to get the little last minute things straight. SO EXCITED!!!!! We leave a week from Wed. to start the drive down, hoping to disembark and then go to the Kennedy Space Center!!

I really need to get it in gear. I have to put my FE's together, do laundry, print out new magnets, and pack all without the kids noticing. I'm starting to think this secret thing is too much work. Oh, and my oldest turns 11 next week right before the cruise so I have all that to plan. I think I'm going to really need this cruise by the time it comes rather than just want it.

My family has switched to the Aug 13 cruise from the 29th. Myself, DW Roxanne and DD Delaney (7) will be onboard. Heres hoping for perfect weather !

Myself,DH and DD will be there. Good to hear that another seven year old will be there too. Am seeing very little number of kids mentioned here in this thread, of that age. Since it is our first time cruising ,was worried about what the kids will do if they get bored with the activities in the ship.
