wow, did not check the board all day...and look what happens!!?? there's been so much "activities" going on!!!

Brenda...you should be packing! hee hee...anyways, didn't get a chance to go to small world! was mostly at fantasyland/tomorrowland, and headed over to ca, and left a bit early. so sorry! it's crazy there! more so at dl than ca. but we're headed out there on friday, and that's where we're having our mini dis meet! at it's a small world! so i can take a shot, and either e-mail it over to you, or will show you on the ship! again, so sorry!

it must have been the steam boat willie collage that the pix were so tiny. cuz the nemo one, the pix were the size of 2 thumbnails! so you can easily see the pix, unless they're way up high! then, forget it! so maybe yours is big, and i can take a picture of your individual picture, along w/the entire collage!

Nancy...hope your son feels/gets better soon! drink lots of fluid & rest up!

Randall...i picked up some maps from both dl and ca. not sure how many excatly...and they're all sorta "messed up", the kids went thru them, we went thru them, etc. they're still in the stroller. will retreive them, pack those up in my suitcase for you. and yes, do the souffle thing!!

Susy...how are your banners/decorations coming along? don't you need to sleep?

forgot who mentioned this, but...yeah, it's definitely so cool to see you guys on different threads, and when i do come across you guys, i tell myself..."hey, i know her/him!!" even though i don't really, except here! but, we're all "family" now!! can't wait to actually put faces to the names!! it's like meeting a pen pal!!

oh...how many of you are packing beach towels? i'm thinking maybe not, for us, cuz they take up so much space! what do you think?

Hello all I am seeing that many of you live in CA and are going to DL often. Is there anyone that could possibly pick up a couple golden Mickey ears for us. I understand that they are sold out on board the ship or sell out quickly and I don't want to chance not being able to get them for the kids at least. ......I had to check the DIS member Roll Call list again just to make sure we did not leave anyone out. I did pad for unexpected surprises......I think we can accommodate every family. : The gift bag idea was primarily geared for the kids so if grandparents can share with the kids -we won't need to increase the count. Plus I think everyone has already purchased goodies for the 20 count.

3. How many are doing tuxes for formal night? Suits? Sweatsuits?

4. What time are you all getting to the dock on Saturday?

5. How many others (like us) will be swimming at the mickey pool first thing?

Susie - I really wouldn't worry about packing beach towels there are plenty on the ship by the pools and they usually hand out towels when you get off the ship in ports for the beach excursions.

This time next week the ship will be on it's way back to port.

Susy - I'm also traveling with 2 widowed grandmas. Looks like the grandpas had better watch out.

We're on the 12:10 bus from the GC so I guess we won't get to the terminal until around 12:40. Our first stop is topsiders for lunch.

No tuxes here just a suit for DH and DS.

Susy, My DH and DSs will have suits for formal night. The kids are a bit tight as they are from a cruise last year, but they werent worth getting new ones for a few hours. LOL, sweatsuits!

We are getting picked up by Super Shuttle at the Disneyland Hotel at 9:30. Ive heard different times of how long it takes to get to the port, but I'm hoping to be there by about 10:30.

Our plan after we board is to grab lunch, go try to change our dining assignment, then probably the pool, but I dont know if we will make it there before the meet.

Ok, Im down to 3 full days left at home!

Has anybody ever had their hair done on the ship? Thinking that might be a good option for formal night? But I'm also scared of new hairdressers. I went to the salon at the GF once for a hair do, and I ended up looking like a beauty pageant contestant but not in a good way.

Okay, back to work on my decorations...

Hi Susie - don't worry at all about that collage - JUST HAVE FUN while you're there!!!
I agree with you all that when i see you on other threads - it's like seeing part of the family!!!
My TA told me not to bring beach towels at all - the have the DCL ones on board - so save the space in your suitcase!!!
i'll have all the 'sunwashed' clothes in suitcases before DH & DS get home from camping.... and DS won't need any of those next week since he's at football practice from 10 am - 7pm - so...i just need to get some pillowcases for signatures and i STILL need a formal dress - maybe will find one today....

Hi Susy - no tuxes for DS - just khaki slacks - suit jacket and tie - and if i don't find a dress it will be sweatsuit for me!!!!
We arrive LAX at 10:40 - so i think the Disney shuttle will have us to the port around noon - 12:30....

(Nancy - we will probably get there close to same time....)

We will probably grab some lunch first - (DS needs to eat every hour i swear) then if time before dis meet - will be checking out pools (altho DS IS much too old for mickey pool) and whatever else on board
