Hi Susy....talk to Arlene (alohatee) about the goodie bags and the rosters...she started the bags and those of us wanting to donate to them have been letting her know what we're bringing. At last count we were putting together 20 bags (1 per family). She has also been doing an online roster of all the families and their onboard activities - excursions, and our DIS Meets....

if you've been at DL almost every Saturday - i'll bet there have been Saturday's we've been there together!!!

I just got my docs over the weekend Am I the last one? I can't believe just 12 more days until Brenda and I are sipping Bahama Mama's together. I am not much of a drinker but I did my fair share as an undergrad.

I am brining about 5 pairs of shoes, though its going to be hard to limit myself.

I was debating over bringing sodas. Just the ease of going into the fridge and grabbing one. Any suggestions?

I was also debating over leaving work early friday and going to disneyland the day before the cruise. Will there be a meet?

hi Courtney! there's a "mini meet" at dl on friday...myself, Janae & family, meeting at 10. Nancy & family as well as Katie & family will be at dl also, but i think they'll be busy w/character breakfast, and/or exploring the park...take a day off! join us! (i know, bad influence!!) i'm doing good w/packing, so at the rate i'm going, it looks good that i have nothing to do on friday, and am going to dl! yay!!

as for soda...you can get them at deck 9, so why bother bringing them? i say leave them at home...unless you need to drink a specific brand? and they don't have that on the ship? i'm packing our boys' drink bottle thing (you know, those things that comes w/lunch boxes?), and filling them up w/water so they can take w/them when we go on excursions, or just lounging...i know it'll be so hot, they need to be kept hydrated!!

Courtney - we are bringing refillable mugs (the kind you buy at the resorts for unlimited drinks). They hold more than the little styrofoam cups they have on deck 9. I love to fill one up and sit by the quiet cove pool.

You aren't the last one, we are still waiting for ours. They are supposed to show up tomorrow, so I will wait for the kids to call and let me know that they got there..

I went to DL yesterday, it was my first time since they have started the celebration. Didn't actually make it into the parks, but did get into the stores and bought some fun stuff. My favorite is the "Then, Now and Forever" book that they have. What an awesome book. Also got eye patches and earrings for pirate night. The kids are starting to roll in from camping for the past few weeks, and I have done back to back trips to CA for work - so next week will be our big packing times. I can't believe how close we are to going.

hey Courtney - maybe that one drink will put us under the table!! wouldn't that be a great way to start our trip????
and if i were you - i would DEFINITELY leave work early on friday or skip it all together and go to DL - might as well start the 'magic' as early as possible!!!!

A 'farewell' meet sounds good (although it will be SOOOO sad that our trip is coming to an end) and we'll be saying good bye....maybe we can decide the time once we know Friday's schedule....

oh, an idea here...i have a mulan costume. i can be mulan on the last day, and would blend in! i'd even offer autographs to those little children disembarking! i'd be a CM! hee hee...

Wouldn't it be great to do a 14-day cruise? and the repo would be SOOOO much fun with all the ports they stop at.....I wasn't even aware of the repo when i booked - so if DCL ever does this again - i'm going to do everything i can to get on one!!!! I WANT to go back to WDW too!!!!

yes, unfortunately, no microwave! and i thought i had a great idea! oh well...have to think of something else! i know there are goodies/munchies in the goodie bags that everyone is contributing to, so that should take care of it. and i wonder what the "surprise" is from Susy...
