I hope they are being used by DISers because I would hate to have the color in my house.

Starwood: I went to Home Depot today and apparently it seems that the lime green paint chip is very popular - all gone. :earboy2: Going to try another location.

Arlene...how many do you need? i can go check out the one near by, tomorrow. it's on my way to the boys' swimming lesson tomorrow! just let me know! (no guarantee though...they might be so popular, it's out too) and what/how do you plan on making the tags? i need step by step, if possible! thanx! i don't even know what they look like! except it's in mickey shaped & color! :flower:

I just put mine in my lanyard pocket. I'll try to scan mine tomorrow and post it.

RSJJ: Thanks for the offer. :flower: I was planning to use them as goodie bag tags for the DIS group and etc. Probably handwrite screen names or use label maker. It looks something like this except all lime green color. :earsboy:

just got back from swimming...stopped by the home depot. would you believe they were out of that color?! actually, they were out of a lot of the colors. they did have someone restocking some of the paint paper things near by, and i saw lots of mickey stack there. so i assume they are "refilling". i wanted to look for the pack of green...and take it. but i didn't! so i plan on going back tomorrow. there are so many cool colors! i might just get the colors i like. they are great for scrapbooking too! and they are free!!!

still have to decide how to make them into tags. thanx, Nancy for the tip about the lanyard holder.

Arlene...so you need one for everyone? can you give me a total? wow...you're making goodie bags??!!?? how clever! whooo hoooo!!! we have that to look forward to? (wait, maybe it's just for you & your niece, and i'm jumping way ahead of myself here! sorry!) :flower:

Susie: Goodie bags......just a thought. Still in the creative & brainstorming process. It would be nice to do a goodie bag exchange at our first cruise meet. I believe we have 12 - 15 families - nothing elaborate or expensive - theme "green" or pirate: . key chains? Any ideas or suggestions? :bounce: Does anyone want to participate?

Hi All,
Just joined this group - but have been booked for the 8/13 West Coast cruise for over a year - only taking DS (14) as 8th grade grad gift....anyway we live here in CA - and have gone to DL twice a year (at least) for the last 20+ years. Went to WDW for 1st time in November and this is our 1st cruise. Look forward to mtg some of you in just 5 short wks!!! Anyone flying out of San Jose to LAX?

welcome bstsuda! and i notice you love to scrap! i'm glad you found yourself here! yay!! :flower:

Arlene...i got those tags! did you still need them? shall i send them to you? i've got 20 of them. (yes, i have to admit...i took them all!! shhh...) i don't think that would be enough for your "project"...just let me know! and there's none of the alien green at our local home depot anymore!!

does anyone know...why the alien green? i read somewhere that it's the color of the disboards? but where's the color? mines in red & blue. maybe i'm missing something here!?! :flower:

:rotfl2: I can just see someone watching you grab 20 Mickey heads and run, LOL! :rotfl:

Lime Green is the color that Dissers wear to identify themselves. People will wear ribbons or whatever when they are in the parks. Now that these Mickey Heads have come out, the alien green was just the perfect color. ;)

And Lime Green has been the color for years, even before it became the in thing. In fact I went to a Dis meet at a mall a couple weeks ago. Beforehand I was walking around the mall trying to pick out Disers by the color they were wearing. Sooo many people had on lime green(including me), but they all weren't Dissers.

FIRST CRUISE MEET: 3PM PROMENADE LOUNGE

35 days till we all board the Magic!!! How exciting! I've been watching Disney website for any cancellations to the Dolphin Swim....sadly no cancellations yet; we are booked for the 2:00 encounter - i noticed a few of you were on that excursion as well. I just can't believe we're a month away - can i lose 10 lbs before then???? LOL!!!!

I have started packing - only the things i've bought - but they are laid out on the guest bed - (waiting for new Mickey luggage to arrive)....not dressing up for pirate night - possibly DS will???

Btw - we've never really had motion sickness so weren't too worried about sea sickness - but to all you experienced cruisers - should i have something with me 'just in case' - if so, what's your best recommendations?

Hi Susie: WOOOO HOOO :smooth: - hold on to them right now. Still thinking on how the tags can be used. Thanks for getting them.

I do get motion sickness but have had no problem on the cruises out of Florida. That said - I have heard that the first day out and the last day are a bit rough. I'm a little concerned so I'm packing EVERYTHING! I have ginger capsules, dramamine, sea bands, and the patch.

I bought Mickey luggage last year but this will be it's first cruise. We are also doing the 2:00 encounter so we will se you there. I've been packing the things I come across and know I want to take but won't need until then. I figure our documents should be arriving sometime after next week. Usually around 3 weeks before.

Thanks Starwood!!! I think i will pack the motion sickness stuff - just in case!!! You know the saying - if i have it - won't need it!!!

I'm thinking of paying for ridemax so we can get the most out of our day and 1/2 at DL. Not sure yet where they will have us at 9 or 9:30. We may be knee deep in rides. LOL

What's ridemax?
