Very cool!!!

Well, the cruise planning is coming along! I booked Palo and the couples massage on line. I LOVE this new prebooking sysytem!

how were you able to book all those online? i thought you can do that only after 90 days before? or maybe you have that reas thing? and that would be the only way? i'll have to go & check to see if i can do that too! this is so exciting! anyone here getting "matching" outfits for your family? i thought about it...that's as far as it got!

which night did you book for palo? or brunch?

I'm paying off the cruises on Monday! Can I start packing now? I also want to call DVC guide on Monday. DH was so happy with OKW that he wants to see about getting more points!!!!!!

We do have the REAS, and I assume thats why I was able to do it. However I was playing around with excursions yesterday and noticed the one we wanted(dolphin encounter for kids 4-8 in PV) wasnt listed. I was freaking so DH gave DCL a call to see if they still offered it. They did and the rep offered to book it for us. I didnt think the REAS involved excursions? And Im not paid in full. Go figure! We were so excited we forgot to book the observer for DH and I which is needed with the kids excursion. We called back and were able to book that. I wont complain, LOL! I printed out the page on line that shows all these things booked, so hopefully I should be set. I will continue to check through out the next few months though.

We booked Palo for Thursday night. It looks like that is semi formal night and I think I read somewhere that will be the menu I want to miss(I cant find where I saw the menu list though). We booked the couples massage for Monday morning. Im guessing what our rotation will be and I figured the rotation we have the least chance of getting is the one that has the character breakfast Monday morning, so hopefully we dont get that rotation. Theres a science to this cruising thing!

ROFL! I thought about it too. Our last cruise was just DH and I and we embarked on July 4th. We had matching tshirts we wore that day, Mickey red, white and blue heads with the date on them. I happened to find them at TDS real cheap and couldnt resist. This time I was thinking of the Mickey tiki shirts for th DH and the boys, and the matching dress for me, for dinner 1 night, but Im still debating that one.

hey, i thought about the tiki outfits also! actually, i saw them on sale at disneydirect, and that's where i got the idea from....but it's still on "thinking about it" mode! we'll see! did you already buy yours?

i read about your "dilema" on the dolphin excursion on another thread! i'm glad you got everything fixed! and got some "freebies" along the way. good for you!

I agree. It is cool to think soon we will all be on that amazing cruise together. BTW, I'm Katie, DH is Peter and our kids are Cameron(8) and Colton(5)...just so everyone wont be calling me CamColt onboard. Actually on our last cruise when we met a few Disers, DH kept introducing himself as "CamColt's DH", LOL!

3 months from tomorrow we leave for Disneyland!!!!

I made my final payment yesterday!!!! Still so much to do and so little time. I need transportation from John Wayne Airport to GC, a car from port to Anaheim after cruise, hotel for one night after cruise, I need to book the kennel for the pooch and find something fantastic for formal night. Still need to decide on excursions.

So, I guess we should also try to set up a meeting on the ship. Any ideas on a good time?

ok, i have to ask you, what's rofl? thought i saw it somewhere, but can't think what it was!

ok, this is for everyone!! i read this article in a magazine...(forgot which one), anyways, it was about people "chatting" online for a while, and they finally got to meet. and before they met, they drew a "perception" of the other person, strictly from the correspondences from their online chatting, and some of them came pretty accurate...after reading the article, i thought of all of you, and how i would know you, if i ran into you on the ship...anyways, i thought the aritcle was pretty interesting, considering that we all don't know each other, (i think, maybe some of you know each other from before? other places?) other than that we love disney, and will be on the ship at the same time! and we all will finally get to meet soon! that's pretty exciting in itself!

ok, i'm rambling! i will stop!

hey, congrats, starwood, on making final payment! were you the one who needed to make arrangements with nieces/nephews? out in ca for excursions? good luck with that! i can't wait to book everything online! you're lucky, CamColt, you got everything taken care of! how about everyone else? wonder where is everyone? hmmm....

It is fun to picture people. At a Dis meet I went to last there 1 person I met was soooo off from what I excpected for this person. Lets just say I expected a young blonde girl, and he wasnt.

Have you tried to book excursions yet? Im still curious as to why we were able to. I keep checking online and they are still listed so, I assume they are ok, but I still worry why we were able to book.

Im having a nightmare with my passport. All 4 of us went to get them. DH and I were rejected because we didnt have, as the lady said "the long form" (they were certified though). So we both had to go to separate city halls to get our long form and then we went back to the PO. This time they were accepted and on their way(the kids had already received theirs). Monday DH got his passport in the mail but I didnt....thought that was odd. Now I get a letter from the passport agency (or whatever it is,LOL) saying my picture was overexposed and I need to resubmit. ACK! So now I have to go back to AAA, get another picture done (they better NOT charge me!) and send it in again! This is getting crazy! I guess my good luck in one area is made up for with bad luck in another.

yes, we'll hopefully be able to book our excursions on monday, right? i have to really sit down & take a good look at what we want to do...now that we can book things online! and i have to seriously think about palo brunch/dinner time as well! so much to think about!

I went shopping for a nice formal dress but the prices were so high and
I forgot it's prom season right now...so I will wait till next month to purchase
a nice dress. Is anyone DH going to wear a tux? I think my dh and ds will wear one. I think they r going to look so handsome.

I'm a little confused...can someone help me out. Can you book Palo online?
i read so many post that that should be the first thing to do when you board the ship...now I'm reading you can book online. Are both of these true. I rather book online than to wait in line on the ship...I hear it gets busy.

The last time we had a lot of people from the boards and we met in the Promenade lounge right before the sail away party. It felt a little rushed. There is a nice place on deck 4 aft which not many people know about.

Doesn't the ship sail at 5:00? Most people like to stand by the rails and watch this. Another alternative would be to meet somewhere Sunday morning, maybe at breakfast?

Its so hard to pick a time, not knowing what will be going on yet. I assume Saturday at 5:00 will be the sailaway party. If you want, we could plan to be up on deck 10 for that(we will probably be there anyway). It should be less crowded than deck 9, but you guys might want to be in the middle of the action and then that would be hard to locate each other.

I wish we had Navigators ahead of time. Geez, I want it all ,dont I?
