I think that's the same vest/bow tie I got. DS has the musical Mickey vest/bow tie which is really nice.

I got mine courtesy of Larry the TUXXMAN on eBay. Great to deal with, fantastic prices too! He said he actually owns the last lot of the Mickey vests - it seems the material cost went thru the roof so its not in production any more. Disney bought something like 500 of the vests from TUXXMAN recently, so there are very few remaining. Larry also mentioned that he doesn't think the Mickey vests are included in ship rentals anymore. Guess we'll see about that.

Terry bought me my new Photoshop yesterday, but I haven't learned how to use it yet...maybe I'll try tomorrow. I only have two feet, I bought a new dress and need a new pair of shoes for Semi-Formal night.

There was ALSO another beautiful Disney design - but they had no more Marco's size !!!
I love that "musical" vest/tie ; is it for kids only ??

As far as we know the Mickey's vests aren't available in ship rentals !

Marco and I spent MANY HAPPY HOURS "working" with Photoshop on our DIS-magnets !!!
It is amazing how you can add "surprises" , change dresses and colours, "create" your own STORY behind each character ...

I'm curious...are there going to be any hints about them? I need a photo shop remedial class. In NC I had a neighbor that did lots of stuff on photoshop but I could never get it quite right. I had some really old photos of my parents when they were kids that water marks and lots of yellowing from age and she fixed them for me. After I get settled I am gonna find a class! -Donna

i have been trying to read the whole thread but boy have you guys been busy! that's just great cause its much more fun to "know" people once you board the ship. my nephew and his dad may be on your cruise. my nephew is 11 and has cruised twice before but this will be his first disney cruise and the first cruise with his dad. so i am trying to do lots of research to help them get the most of the the cruise. what are the top recommended excursions for this cruise? what are you all doing? have any of you done this cruise before? please share anything that i really need to know. o suggested they do the earlier seating. i did 8:30 with my nephew and he was pretty exhausted...which made dinner not so fun for me..lol thanks so much everyone. hope you have a great trip. i just got back from an alaska cruise. it was awesome!!! beth

I would guess on the Western Cruise that visits Grand Cayman and Cozumel, the two most popular excursions would be Stingray City in Grand Cayman and a Dolphin Swim at Cozumel.

In our group we have a mixture some have cruised before both with Disney and others, some are first timers.

At age 11 your nephew and his Father might enjoy the late dining @ 8:00pm which would be APL rotation it’s the earliest of the late dining. Main dining (early) may not be available at this late date.

Have they booked their cruise yet?

as far as i know they are booked. no docs yet...i think they are on the way. i am not sure exactly when he booked but it was done for him by a relative who is a ta. he relied on her so i am not sure what seating she has him in. i will have to tell them about the stingray excursion.

Passports for DH and DD came today! I already had one and so did my older DD from her beloved trip to Italy. We could have a contest over whose picture is the worst. I think the younger DD would win. It definitely looks like a scary mugshot. Be sure to embarass her and ask to see it!

Has anybody recieved documents yet? And could anybody tell me what documents you are supposed to get ? I recieved a package(folder) in MAy when we made reservation. The actual cruise documents are not usually sent out until about 2 weeks - 10 days before. You get a little package (I think it was UPS) with a big booklet (checkbook size) with lots of tear out pages (documents that need to be filled out if you didn't do it online and your actual cruise voucher, your hotel voucher if you are doing a multistay, and airline voucher) You will also get the special luggage labels to put on your bags so they get to the right room.

I did panic when I hadn't had them a month before last time. Spoke to DCL and was told that they don't send them out until 10 days out. You might get them sooner, but don't count on it.

Can't believe it's so soon. United have changed our flight, fortunately it's only by 5mins and they changed the flight#, which was a little odd, but that's the return trip. I am now worrying about storms holding up our flights down to FL, and the dreaded hurricanes.

I was wondering, that if you have filled in your documents online, if you would get the booklet at all. Not sure about that. That might be a question to throw over to the main cruise board. You would still need your luggage labels, so you must get something in the mail!
