Whoo hoo! The club ages have been modified for the better! Oceaneer is now 3-12, Edge is 11-14, and Vibe is 14-17. That is good news for the kids who are at those "border" ages, where maturity level can have a huge impact on which club they belong. I have one (older) 14 year old who will go to Vibe, while my other (just turned) 14 year old can choose Edge (as he is not "ready' for Vibe). I was so worried about Disney's new strict policy about age cut-offs for clubs, as my younger 14 year old is not yet at the maturity level of others his age. I think he will have much more fun in Edge!

That's really cool they changed the ages like that. Looking at some of the activities, I wish I could fall in that age group. Sadly, I guess being 25 "forces" me to hang with the adults.

Hi everyone! We are from Miami, FL. My husband and I just decided tonight to book our trip. We plan on going Aug 10th too. This will our 2nd time and we also did the Double Dip the first time. We loved Castaway Cay and we did the FE exchange gifts too. I still have our personalized fish extender from our 1st cruise. I would love to be added to list. I saw someone post about a fb group. I will confirm tomorrow our reservation. We are also hoping my sis in law and her family will go too.

Welcome! We did set a July 1st deadline for our FE, BUT we also had a few latecomers, so we started a "latecomers" list with the understanding that latecomers might not get something from everyone. However, many of us made extras for latecomers, so if you join, you will probably get something from many of the participants. (We made extras!!!) Here is the link to our sign up sheet:

Hello again everyone! I posted this on the Facebook group as well, but just in case you didn't see it:

FEers, I have a thought, tell me what you think. Since some families in the original FE group have extras and can accommodate the latecomers, and some had already finished theirs and don't have extras, how about the families that CAN exchange with the latecomers highlight their name on the FE list..that way the latecomers have some people to exchange with (and know who they are), but anyone who already completed their FE gifts won't need to feel obligated to make more gifts. What does everyone think?

I'm happy to see an overlap, not so much for now, but the DGC are consecutive ages & this gives a choice for a future cruise!

I updated the FE Google Doc totals for each gender/age group just in case anyone was using them. They were older totals from before the cutoff. Now they are dynamic formulas that will keep updated if there are any other changes made. (Don't judge my spreadsheet-loving geekiness!). I also added a few columns to add in location on the ship. I will update from home later, but I was going to use that to make myself a map and I figured if it would help someone else I might as well share.

Looking forward to this SO very bad! I've been spending so much time cruise planning I had done NOTHING to plan for my almost 4yo's birthday the day before - woops! But we stopped by the Disney store this weekend and picked him up a couple little things, ordered cupcakes for school, and now all I've got to do is plan dinner/cake and I can get back to DCL planning =D LOVING that I can use the cruise as an excuse to not have a million people over at my house for a birthday party, and we can just have a low-key fun time to celebrate my "baby" boy! Our next cruise is booked for 10 days after our daughter's birthday and I'm fearful we've started a trend that's going to be expensive to keep up on
