Aug 21 - check in

I am gold and today is supposed to be check in day for an Aug 16 on the Dream. I’m able to book port adventures and Palo, etc. but check-ins are temporarily disabled to “streamline the check-in process”

Were any Platinums were able to check in that are be reading this?

Maybe I’m reading something into it that’s not there but I wonder if this has anything to do with the CDC statement that came out last week - the 95-98% vaccine rates for guests and crew.

Heck, at this point I’d volunteer to be a test cruiser ... just put me on a boat!

It has been like that for a long time. I think they are just waiting to be sure the cruise will sail before letting people officially check in.

What things were you able to book in advance as gold? I am also gold, but August 28 is our sailing date. What things were offered for adults on the ship? Just dinners or tastings? Shows? Any thing you feel is a Covid change?

No real Covid changes, outside of the lack of Meet-and-greets.

Palo and Remy were there, plenty of alcohol tastings, excursions, cabanas, etc.

There were no new types of bookings for shows, movies, etc.

It was as of Monday. I was checking in for my 9/6 cruise and was able to book onboard activities, but no checkin.

I just received the concierge pre-mailing for our cruise at the beginning of October...still not sure if we're going to reschedule, so I'm going along with it for now. I'll let you know if I learn anything interesting.

So, I didn't ask about check in.

Activities: Disney Jr Breakfast and meet and greets are not available at this time - but I was told to note it in my requests so they could contact me if/when they become available.

Lots of tasting options, as someone else noted and Palo requests as normal.
