Another DISer to add to the 8-21... we're taking over the ship! Welcome ifotobonz!

Anyone have plans for the 4th? Looks like we'll be at a non-Disney park, *gasp* Knott's Berry Farm for some roller-coaster fun. No setting off our own fireworks though, they don't allow that in many places here. Too much dry grass. It used to be fun to set off fireworks on the street and see them leave a nice mark (or hole!) on the asphalt.

We are spending Sunday afternoon at my brother Chuck's house for a BBQ and pool party.

We have our local parade starting off on our street on Sunday. It is always fun to just get out of bed and walk out our door and TA DA a parade! DH is off now building our school float and DS will be in the parade so we will have a fun 4th.

We will be at the pool during tthe day, and go to the race track to view the fireworks at night.

We are having a retirement party for my dad on the 3rd and going to a BBQ on the 5th!

Will probably be packing up my house on the 4th!! We make settlement om 7/30!!!

Welcome Ifotobonz!

We're off to Disneyland tonight and maybe Sunday morning. Planning to take DD to La Brea Tar Pits tomorrow. We get an awesome view of several fireworks displays from our home so we'll probably be down at the neighbors' - always more fun to enjoy fireworks with friends and family! Happy 4th!

Has anyone looked into a tour in San Juan not sponsered by the ship? I found a good site today and discovered a tour that does the Rainforest and Luquillo Beach. It looks good as we really wanted to do both and DD4 is too young to do the Rainforest with swimming from Disney. Does anyone know how far Luquillo Beach is from the dock? I am thinking about taking a cab? Anyone know the area at all? Thanks
