I don't think you need to worry about no one bidding on your bags! I REALLY don't think that will be an issue.

And I agree with the post from someone else about the Aug stuff. If you are on vacation, I am sure people would understand (I know I would, esp if my trip wasn't at that time and I still had time to get my bag)!


Once again it amazes me the things you think up. I used to think I was creative, until I saw you stuff, now I feel like I am not creative at. all! My bag (by my choosing) is so plain jane (and I LOVE IT). I would have never thought up some of the stuff you have! Then again I guess I don't have a FAVORITE character, kinda love them all, which is why a plain mickey head is perfect for me!

I know you missed my last post because you ALWAYS comment back. So I'll tell you our trip is planned for Sept 4th through the 9th. A short trip by our standards, but Dan doesn't have any more vacation time to spare. The guy gets 6 weeks a year, but it's all spoken for or gone already! But 6 days is better than no days, so I'm not complaining!

You are right - I did miss it... Sigh... That is a bummer that I will totally miss you by days. But... I am so happy for you that you get to go!

II am absolutely loving all the pictures from 2003!!! How cute is that little hand of V's in Josh's pocket?! It's so great to reminisce isn't it? My parents said they are cleaning out drawers and closets and things so I won't have to. They are reading old letters/cards/thank yous that they've kept for years and having a good time doing it.

I love reminiscing - it's hard to believe that our first trip was 10 years ago... and that was just the beginning of my true Disney love. Back then - I knew nothing... I watched all of the movies and such, but I didn't know a thing about the parks.

II'm glad you're getting a lot done with your orders and will have time to do your own bags. I got the weeks messed up and thought your auction was this past Thursday and hot-footed it over there to discover my mistake. We did pretty well at our garage sale, but last night I was so very tired. We made $240 plus $200 on a freezer we had on Craig's list. So, that's all Disney money!

I am hoping I have enough time to do all of our own bags... I was telling him last night how crazy all of my next weeks before our trip were, and I was also telling him that all of my Custom order $$ I make will have to go directly into our budget - so this is really my last chance to make any $$ for our trip (besides my July and maybe Aug auctions)... He thought it would be a great idea to sneak in someone from my waiting list... and I was like... Uhhhh - did you not just hear me... I have 5 of our own bags to make yet... I don't have the time to sneak anyone in... LOL So, the more $$ I make from this big auction the better.

Thanks Lois - I hope Dan had a good Father's day too! Josh and V didn't get home from the lake until late - so they spent most of the day on the road... But they had a lot of great bonding time - so that was very good for them.

Oh WOW! Talk about missing posts! I absolutely love your bug"s life bag! The colors are great and that detail on the front in the shape of a leaf is so very cleaver! And I really like the fabric of the strap for the wallet too. Ok, I love everything about it!

Good guess Ariana - and you are right. However the only items following that theme are the bags and coordinating wallet/lanyard sets... All of the other accessories are not themed at all... As V is going to have a few lanayrds in this auction... and I have a hard time coming up with GAC themes - so I just did whatever came to mind - unfortunately, it wasn't much.

Once again a lovely bag. Great colors and fabric that really fits Monster Inc.

Well - I just looked at the Aug calendar - and it looks like my auction will actually be the week before we go - so that is good. I just don't know if I will have the time to make a full bag set. I guess I will see when the time comes - because it really would be amazing to have that extra $$ for our trip, the way my trip budget looks, we will need it.

Hmmm... I can't even remember what I did yesterday... Oh yah - I worked in my sewing room.

I appliqued a GAC wallet and assembled it. And then I made and finished my next one - which was a super simple applique, but it fits the theme - so that's good. So, all of my major auction stuff is finally complete - what a relief. I still have 2 camera straps to make - which I plan to do this morning. I was going to do them in the evenings tonight and tomorrow - but I have to run to town and get quilt batting - and I have to go to town to get V later, so I will do both then. Rather than do nothing, I will work on the camera straps.

I am also starting a custom order today... I am VERY excited about this one. This one belongs to a good friend of mine, and she told me that I get to choose the theme completely. Well - when she told me that, almost a year ago, I came up with (what I think is) a good idea and I've been saving it just for her. Hopefully it's as great in real life as it is in my head. It's going to be a bit tricky to get it to come together logistically... But I think she will really like it a lot! I hope...

Thursday is crazy for me... There are no other words... Not only does my BIG auction start, but I have to work that day and I have to bring V into town for her show choir summer camp... Thursday will be a mess, and I have no idea how I am going to make it work? As I will be mobile when I need to make my fanpage visible again... This is going to be rough - I can just feel it. Maybe I will have to bring the laptop with me to work that day? Hmmm...

1-Wall-E now THAT Ariana would be a GREAT idea, that poor little fellow gets so lost he almost doesn't exist How adorable is he ?? If there is any truth to the wild rumors spreading, and I'm not sure I believe them,when DHS gets a major over haul the internet ..NOT Disney..is speculating that there will be a pixar land, a star wars land, and a cars land... wouldn't that be awesome..of course all speculation and probably won't happen & if so not until like 2018 BUT Wall-E could then come out of the shadows

2-D-BB of COURSE I wouldn't mind sitting out you going on slides and would you mind me sitting on a lounge chair with a book while you do ? What do I say a lot "no worries...It's ALL good" and I truly mean it

3- D mentioned I am trying to coordinate a larger DisMeet for August TRUE
and I am thinking DHS Sun Aug 25th for THIS: from 6 pm to 10 pm
